@Niclas Eriksson oh yeah, isn't that so beauuutiful!.Same way the guys did for 'Don't Shut Me Down' in 2021! Btw I never knew at the time it was also the guys but learned about it decades later.
Again, another great song! And Fridas vocals are sublime! Can't wait for your next reaction to The Name Of The Game! A classic multi layered composition! Velvet for the ears! 👍❤️
Such beautiful words.Kinda sad but realistic and eventually hopeful....."our love is a precious thing/worth the pain and the suffering/and it's never too late for changes".Thank you Bjorn.Thank you Frida for the wonderful lead, thank you all 4.
Another MASTERPIECE from ABBA. i have to agree with you the vocals here are stunning. A song full of emotions, tenderness. Love it! I really appreciate your reactions!
This is a underrated masterpiece👌 Girls make it look easy but it must be a really hard song to sing. Moments in which they lengthen the words and others in which they make an 'In Creccendo' (from less to more) Love this song! Take care, Matt & Lucca Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱😘👍
oh ABBA songs are deceptively easy to perform but artists that have covered them had witnessed a huge mountain so hard to climb as so many have confessed.
This album just gets better and better from here on, what more can I say that already hasn't been said in the other comments posted🤗 I can't wait for your reaction to the next three tracks and then on to the "Mini Musical"🥴 🇬🇧🤗
Hello again, dear friend so nice to see you in your/our classic ABBA Journey these is your 50th Congratulations for an excellent job Thanks for these reaction of another beautiful ABBA songs This is a very deep song in the cult album that is “The Album”, comprehensive masterpiece with nine works of art as diverse as they are magnificent "One man One woman" (1977) has deep lyrics, (I love the phrase: 'our love is a precious thing…' in the last verse) a great interpretation by Frida (heartfelt and strong) and a powerful entrance from Agnetha to add a verse before each chorus and make it magnificent, a solid backing music with a great final, and beautiful instrumental parts It is one of the best ballads of Frida in the leading voice (and is in my Top5 of all ABBA songs with Frida in lead voice) "ABBA The Album" (1977) is a golden pearl It is full of excellent numbers That is why this beautiful song is a little more relegated and with logic ; It is very difficult to beat the hit "Take a chance on me", the majestic "Eagle", and much more to comming soon (I don´t want to spoil about the next three songs but I guess that will suprise you each one) and if that weren't enough, there is the mini musical at last "The girl with the golden hair" that includes three powerful tracks that you must to react in a sequence (that I don´t want to spoil too hahaha) But not only the song is very good (8pts in my opinion) The official video is a beauty, how they play with the images of them, entering interspersed and leaving with their faces (it was filmed in the same time with another song, "Thank you for the music" in the same week of these, in 1978, 45 years ago!) I see you in the next ABBA video My best regards to You from Buenos Aires, Argentina South America
There are some rumours that this song was performed live just for one and only time in their 1979 world tour and that was in one of their first dates in America.
Such a wonderful song. Frida's lead is so touching. People talk about how Agnetha is the story teller of the band, well, I present this song (and another later on in the album) as evidence to the contrary. Can't wait for your reaction to the next incredible track.
"ABBA The Album" reach the Top 10 in 11 countries and number one in 5 of those. (#14 in the US) ✌ On the best-selling album of 1978 charts, it finished at #2 in Austria, #4 in the Netherlands, #5 in Germany, and #22 in the US (platinum). In the UK, "The Album" finished third losing to two soundtracks: Saturday Night Fever and Grease. Because of the Cold War, apparently... 🤔 in Poland - an unprecedented one million copies were sold, exhausting the country's entire allocation of foreign currency - ABBA gave a televised concert in Poland in 76. (ABBA in Poland) In Russia - only 200,000 copies were permitted to be pressed.
"THe Album' shot imediately to no1 spot and stayed there for 7 weeks.Ending 3rd year end best seller album with only the iconic Mammoth soundtracks ' SNF' and Grease' above .That was a real labour.

Gorgeous song lead by Frida, and her best ones (IMO) are still coming up. But why did they cut off that outro so fast? I could've listen to that orchestration for a couple more minutes... oh well. As for the hick-ups, I'm pretty sure that the person who sent you those files has recorded them off a vinyl. I've noticed a few artifacts on the recent songs, but luckily nothing major.
Wow, this bloke has sub human posters and now he is wearing Stay up forever T shirts , and at the same time loving his Abba. Way to go dude ! I know those 2 scenes and people from back in the day , in those days i never hid my love of Abba and the shit i got in the 80s and 90s for "admitting" i liked abba was substantial. I was so chuffed [happy] when i learnt Lemmy was a fan , and of course was in no way afraid of "admitting" it. I had never heard I am the city , so thanks a lot for that mate , Its amazing how many people have not heard Elaine [b side of winner takes it all]. Its a buzz for an oldster like me [ i am 59] to see a rockin [UK punk influenced ] dude who also knows/loves his acid teckno, being moved by and enjoying the Swedish masters of thier genre. PS The acid underground lives , recent rave in an abbandund railway tunnel , Shepton Mallet Somerset UK, ps32 SP23.
Haha, yes! I love this comment, and indeed, I am a musical omnivore. And hell yes, big shout to someone also still in the acid underground, familiar with hardcore punk, and down with ABBA.
Not a huge fan of this one. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's well crafted, the ladies sound amazing, but..but...it's a bit musical theatre, it's a bit soap opera, kitchen tables and keys in doors. Later they will write relationship songs worthy of Ingmar Bergman style cinema - this is still kitchen sink drama. Plus I don't like the guitar sound, it's a bit Big Country. It's not a miss but it's at the lower end of this album for me. As a kid I just thought I wondered if my Mum and Dad feel like this.
After all these years, it still gives goosbums.
Even after 40 plus years i still get chills while revisiting this lil masterpiece.Great storytelling lyrics and solo performance by Anni'Frid.
Such a great song, great video as always.
I love the vocals on this track, both the lead and backing. Their voices were soaring.
@Niclas Eriksson oh yeah, isn't that so beauuutiful!.Same way the guys did for 'Don't Shut Me Down' in 2021! Btw I never knew at the time it was also the guys but learned about it decades later.

Frida slays
Emotional powerfull ballad where Frida truly shines!
maybe one of their top 5 best recordings. always loved frida's accappella vocal near the end.
This is a underrated masterpiece👌
Girls make it look easy but it must be a really hard song to sing.
Moments in which they lengthen the words and others in which they make an 'In Creccendo' (from less to more)
Love this song!
Take care, Matt & Lucca
Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱😘👍
oh ABBA songs are deceptively easy to perform but artists that have covered them had witnessed a huge mountain so hard to climb as so many have confessed.
Besides Frida’s fantastic vocal it’s the harmonies that make this one of the stand out tracks from the album.
This album just gets better and better from here on, what more can I say that already hasn't been said in the other comments posted🤗

This is a very deep song in the cult album that is “The Album”,
comprehensive masterpiece with nine works of art as diverse as they are magnificent
"One man One woman" (1977)
has deep lyrics, (I love the phrase: 'our love is a precious thing…' in the last verse)
a great interpretation by Frida (heartfelt and strong)
and a powerful entrance from Agnetha to add a verse before each chorus and make it magnificent,
a solid backing music with a great final, and beautiful instrumental parts
It is one of the best ballads of Frida in the leading voice
(and is in my Top5 of all ABBA songs with Frida in lead voice)
"ABBA The Album" (1977) is a golden pearl
It is full of excellent numbers
That is why this beautiful song is a little more relegated and with logic ;
It is very difficult to beat the hit "Take a chance on me",
the majestic "Eagle",
and much more to comming soon
(I don´t want to spoil about the next three songs
but I guess that will suprise you each one)
and if that weren't enough,
there is the mini musical at last
"The girl with the golden hair"
that includes three powerful tracks
that you must to react in a sequence
(that I don´t want to spoil too hahaha)
But not only the song is very good (8pts in my opinion)
The official video is a beauty, how they play with the images of them,
entering interspersed and leaving with their faces
(it was filmed in the same time with another song, "Thank you for the music"
in the same week of these, in 1978, 45 years ago!)
I see you in the next ABBA video
My best regards to You

That was in the kick off date 13th September 1979 Edmonton Canada..

They’ve come a long way from Ring Ring haven’t they?! And further down the line, the songs get deeper still!
Such an epic song. I can't wait for the Move on reaction. It's the track before One man one woman. My all time fave 👌
For managing marital issues listen first to "One Man, One Woman" and for filing divorce "Knowing Me, Knowing You".
for 'marital issues'...ha!ha!loved this.
This one is famous for its outro.. among other things. Not to mention the singing skills, but they are obivous on every song any way.
Backing track/backing vocals.
