Just to add some context: Adam and Joe were directly parodying a show then on telly called ‘The 1900 House’ in which a modern family lives as a late Victorian family. The series documented their experiences and struggles restricted to only turn of the century living standards and technology. The joke here of course is that the difference between the early 2000’s and 1980’s is pretty negligible with regards to tech, etc. Adam also parodies the mother from 1900’s House who had a mental breakdown at one point by doing likewise… only here it’s because the former is overcome by an 80’s microwave and sandwich toaster! 😁
Yeah, apparently it's all MexiNese Fent these days.... Brought over on the dinghies. Everyday apparently. Who would know? The 80's, 90''s & noughties, happy days.
Buckles putting in the performance of a lifetime here!
Count Buckulease always does. But this really is something special lol
This sketch predicted BBC Two's Back In Time series.
This is piss take of “the 1900’s house” a reality show set in Victorian times, featuring the most whiney family ever made.
Adam and Joe are national treasures.
I just will never be able to get over how convincing adam is.

"Oh that's ruined, and that's just hot bread now!"
This still cracks me up all these years later.
"Popular comedy rodents" is possibly the funniest thing ever.
1985 was almost 40 years ago. This would not look out of place now.
This was my mum in the 80s
I showed the family this sketch they never heard of this before. They cried with laughter because that is my mum
I’d never noticed the framed photo of Margret thatcher on the bedside table before 😁
Ahead of it's time
"...there's only three & a half channels, and all showing popular comedy rodents..."
Thank you from the future, A & J.
I love history.
Two bottles in the shower?
