BIG had the ability to carry the battle rapping, the lyricism into the booth and still make hit songs that were catchy af. Not many can do that. It's been either one or the other. Either you a battle rapper, a lyrical miracle or just into making hit songs for the radio. And he had a natural rhythm and charisma...Never saw anything like him until Pun.

I’m glad Lil Cease revealed that Biggie wrote the album “Ready To Die”. He later developed the superability to write in his head and then record but that’s after mastering the craft of writing on paper. There’s a process to mastery. Respect the process.

Makaveli is an incredible album and likely my favorite Pac work...but Life After Death is too massive for Makaveli. Just the sheer number of classic and timeless songs on that album. Biggie created what can be considered a perfect rap album...and a double disc on top which makes it that much harder? Man, Makaveli alone cant keep up simply because it's a one disc album even though the content on Makaveli is more my lane than alot of the mafioso shit Biggie was doing on Life After Death.

Biggie was the complete package; flow, story telling, plausibility, versatility (could rap fast, slow and off beat).
