Hey man, you're practically the best creator that I can find for Java Swing, and I really wanted to ask you. For some reason, whenever I use imageIcons for any reason whatsoever, they never actually show. The imageIcons never actually load for some reason at all. Any idea on why that would happen?
Love the way you explain things. I did know about Writing HTML in labels from your Weather App video.
Keep it up 👍❤
I appreciate it 😀
Men, you are helping me with me exams a lot!!! You are the best!!! I also love and want mechanical keyboard!
Glad to help 😁, and you can probably get one cheap around $30 on AliExpress to TikTok shop
@@TapTap_196 Actually I was doing java applications for my classmates, people from other classes and eventually I had accumulated 101,39 $. That was crazy work, but now I am ready to buy the keyboards like keyrox, keronch etc. I would be very thankful, if you will help me with the choice. (i want quite switches like brown and cool interaction, like usability I mean)
@@TapTap_196 Also, I am your fan from Kazakhstan
@@Abdurahman-rp4qn I appreciate your support 😀
Bro, I started learning Java! I don’t know if you remember me, but I wrote to you about half a year ago (it was in winter) that I’m currently writing in Python, but I’m planning to switch to Java, and now I’m already learning Java! And I really like this beautiful language
Oh yeah I remember and Nice! and hope you enjoy the journey 😀
Simplesmente incrível. 🗿🍷
Thanks!
Nice!
I appreciate it 😁
@@TapTap_196Which theme are you using?
@@francescomoscufo4055 I am currently using the New UI of IntelliJ + Monocai Theme (plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/12163-monocai-color-theme)
Thanks for letting me know that we can use html in swing framework 🌟😊
No problem 😀
@@TapTap_196 😊, can we also use other things with Swing, like to style and provide functionality to the HTML?
@@shubham_paliwalI'm not exactly sure, but I think Swing only supports the use of the HTML tags so you won't be able to style or add functionality to them.
To add functionality we can use an event listener like ActionListener or MouseListener and for style we have to use the Swing methods like the setForeground() to change the color of the font, setFont() to change the font, and etc...
@@TapTap_196 Okay, wish it supported them 😅.
@@shubham_paliwal Yeah me too 😓, but I think if you truly want to use CSS, JavaFX does support them but its a bit limited I think.
Please also cover all Custom components in Java swing.
Hello, and yeah I plan on doing that 😀
you should explain how images are scaled and how their sizes matters
Oh yeah I should've done that 😓
I always forget it's JLabel to set the icon but i keep accidentally doing JPanel thinking it would work, i would think JLabel then realize its for text and then realize JPanel is a panel and you can't seticon
English?
@@JensMeier-yd3jv sorry it was in spanish
@@MatthewLitwiz Xd, didn't understand a word! :)
@@JensMeier-yd3jv if you had coding experience and didn't understand then it's concerning, but if your just getting into coding then I understand coding can be very complicated and hard to understand, coding is basically speaking another language but you can only talk to the computer, you ain't just gonna go up to a human and say open ComboBox or JDialog
Oh yeah I can see that. I wonder if instead you can add the ImageIcon directly to the JPanel 🤔
