I agree with her. The simple fact of playing your card the best you can using different abilities of the cards on the porch and every round is changing giving you differente options of strategy while the cards of the porch are changing plus the different ways of achieving the goods over the board. I think is quite nice.

This one fell a little flat for me for a lot of the reasons you mentioned. Having that one card that is important in every phase really emphasized the issue when you would get a bad set of cards. With only two posse members I felt like I was almost always having to waste one of my workers trying to improve my card, which then only left one meaningful decision every round. It is sitting on my shelf, guess I will break it out again and give it another go.

I do enjoy this game, but it's a bit more complex than it really needs to be especially with the steps you take throughout the game and the RNG of the cards. I've had mixed reviews from others I've played with, and I know there are better Tiny Epic games out there, but this one is alright once you have a group that knows how it goes.
