As an independent artist, I often deal with my designs being copied and I wanted to see how bad these counterfeit copies really are. Sucks that it happens a lot & to your designs too! At least when you find counter-fit ones the quality always sucks! Also I definitely always buy from the actual maker! Really not fair to them if I don't and they deserve to be paid for their hard work in making it in the first place! Plus, as a collector I need to have Authentic stuff in my collection you know! (Authentic is normally the better quality anyway!) hehe

Could you maybe do a video on how you trademarked your pin designs? I run a small business myself and I worry that someone will steal my necklace and pin designs. It's just so frustrating that people just copy and sell cheaply after all the work that you out into making the design.

It might be a bit difficult to make a video because I have viewers from all over the world and the process is different in each country (plus I’m not qualified to give advice about legal matters and could give you incorrect advice 😂). In the UK you need to register the designs with the IPO, I hope that helps!

OMG, how frustrating. I am brand new to the pin game and am worried about counterfeits so even though I am pretty much a no body at this point I decided to back stamp my pin with my logo. Some people just have no shame. Also, as a collector I always buy right from the creator, I never shop around for a "better price", it just feels icky.

It's so difficult, time consuming, and at times, really heart breaking but doing funny things like this makes it a little easier to take! Back stamping is a great route to go down. I haven't back stamped any of my pins but it's something I am considering!
