yesterday in mi profesional run, the verdugo stop runing the moment i presed the third button to freeze him he stared at me and i shot him (i thoug he was stuck) then he made the "no, no" finger sing, the same as in the OG re4, but i dont know if it was because he evade the freeze or because i shot him.
It's kinda sad Luis Sera didn't survive until the end despite his kindness, hardwork & loyalty. His great friendship & sacrifices will never be forgotten by Leon.

Luis prays in game in with Leon too after killing an enemy or before he enters the elevator. They done Luis so good with his backstory makes me want to learn more about him hopefully in DLC, i bet the Red9 belongs to his grandfather, kid Luis got traumatized after watching his only family member die in the flames due to the plaga infection.
@Gakot He lived in that village as a kid before his grandpa dies, that's when he left the village to study biology and became a prodigy biologist, he joined Umbrella to learn more about the parasites that killed his grandpa, helped create Nemesis then he left when he realized Umbrella's bad intentions, then went back and joined los illominados to create the cure to the plaga but his research ended up creating El Gigante, Regenerators, U3, Novistadors and Verdugo. But he did succeed to make the parasite removal machine.
Making Luis playable was one of the biggests things that they got right with this remake. I have yet to see a remake of a AAA game done with so much love and passion as this game.

What I really like about detail 13, in which Ashley asks after Leon’s well-being following a battle, is that Leon always responds that he’s fine, no matter what. Considering the sheer amount of little details included in this game, this comes off less as the writers and directors not bothering to write and record new lines and more like deliberate characterisation for Leon. I just love details like that, it says a lot without needing to spell things out

Umbrella Europe && Umbrella USA were rivals, particularly over the Tyrant project. They may have met around the time Birkin secured the NEa parasite, tho.
For detail 4 If you take care of the armored gigante first, leon will say this "and now for the 'naked' one" to the unarmored gigante (idk if this counted as the secret dialogue or no)
Verdugo doesn't only taunt you that way. If he's dodging all your attacks or they're not affecting him, he'll fall slightly back and give you a "bring it on" taunt
I love the detail of Ashley reacting to Leon's condition, its a reference to Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles, any scenario with two playable characters will have the other character react to your condition when taken lower, its awesome to see Capcom didn't forget that
I think it really isn't a reference to anything, it's just another detail they added to enhance the feel for the game. Calling it a reference to UMB:C, is like calling reloading a refence to call of duty.
Something I found out is that if you go down into the shooting gallery, walk up to the bell and leave without interacting with it, the Merchant might say "O-Oi! Where you off to!? It took me ages to set this up!" Made me feel real bad for him, so I stayed for a few rounds.

I was expecting Verdugo would taunt Leon with a big finger wag but im kinda disappointed that they didn't animate that threatening taunt/detail in the remake. In the original, he would taunt you with a finger wag. The Verdugo's finger wag was also a reference to the Terminator 's finger wag. Still a great remake as always though!
yeah its a shame that it wasn't in this game, that was one of my favorite details in the original, not just because of the reference, the first time i tried to shot him and saw him doing that i knew just how fucking screwed i was, that this creature was fully aware and was just toying with me, the Verdugo is probably one of the smartest and most sentient B.O.W in the entire franchise, if not the smartest of them all, which just makes them even scarier to me, they are basically the Las Plagas version of a Tyrant
He actually has another taunt animation that’s pretty similar that wasn’t showcased here. He stands and does one of those beckoning “Bring it” hand gestures. He did it to me lol. Still prefer the finger wag, though.

For detail 7, I'm pretty sure this animation at 3:02 is Verdugo actually performing an attack with his tail, not a taunt. It's the same attack in the clip before it. You can even see and hear a crate being smashed by the tail's tip at 03:06. It looks like a taunt with the attack happening outside the frame. Still a cool idea, though!
I will say, that isn't a "Taunt" from the Verdugo, (Even though he *does* have one.) If you look closely you can see the tail spiking out and smacking something behind you in the clip. Great video! Although the Resident Evil 4 remake is out, I'm still playing a lot of the original on mobile. In fact, on my latest episode of my RE4 series, I just passed through the cabin with Louis and both paths. It was intense! Keep up the great work!
As frustrating as it is having Luis move so slow, it makes sense that he's the slowest of the playable characters. Unlike, Leon, Krauser, or HUNK, he probably only received the bare minimum firearms training as an Umbrella researcher. He's no active combatant, much less special forces like those three. He simply doesn't have the build and stamina to run around like they do.
So you know how you can shoot the speaker when Salazar starts talking before the Water Hall? Well, you can do that for each, once on the wall before the Armored El Gigante and before the throne room in the statue in the middle. That being said, I don't know if there is an easter egg that is hidden. I shot all three but he does cackle each time, maybe different guns to see what happens?

Man playing mercs mode in performance mode with ray tracing off and hair strands really smooths the gameplay, especially mercs it is much more smoother than the actual village sequence of campaign, only during explosions fps takes a hit , but otherwise It is solid 60 in mercs mode
A little bit of capcon easter egg here,due to RE4 originaly released on 2004 and Monster hunter 1 also release in 2004.The merchant theme fron RE4 could also be heard in the monster hunter 1 swamp ambience...
there is another line Luis says if you kill the armored El gigante when he is waiting to jump on his back with the dynamite. It's a pretty fun one too.
In the minecart area when you get to the big outside area if you shoot the barrel way up high that is moving then it will damage the chainsaw guy's minecart
Can you drop el Gigante during the double battle with Luis into the pit or you can't at all cause they will immediately move when you try it? I'm assuming it's only there as a reference to the original to show that there's no easy way to kill it. Seriously can you kill it like that cause it won't stay in the middle of the pit when I tried to open it.

Can you drop el Gigante during the double battle with Luis into the pit or you can't at all cause they will immediately move when you try it? I'm assuming it's only there as a reference to the original to show that there's no easy way to kill it. Seriously can you kill it like that cause it won't stay in the middle of the pit when I tried to open it.
