I am a big fan of linen and have a few shirts and a suit. You are absolutely right linen, it’s THE choice for summer
Glad we agree, thanks for watching!
Love linen, I have a shirt that was bought in 2009 in Italy, it still looks brand new, I have acquired several over the years, ( 6 ) just love wearing them during summer, I purchased a linen suit 3 years ago, dark blue, with a pink linen shirt, looks really smart. Down side to my linen shirts is that I have to have them cleaned in the fall at the cleaners, it costs, as they get put away for the following year.
Nice, thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Great video, very insightful. Likewise, linen has become a staple in the warmer weather. I have 2 mid weight navy and stone linen trousers relaxed fit which has a lovely drape (still looking great after 5 years of multiple wear), a light blue linen sports coat and a light beige linen suit and a beige linen shirt.
Thanks so much! Nice, I’ve thought about linen trousers before but never pulled the trigger as I’ve only come across more casual silhouettes. Excited to try the fabric out in more styles in the future!
@@moderntrend2981Sounds great. The trousers are 100% linen 280GSM sourced from Britain. Because of the weight, it drapes quite nicely and does not wrinkle as one would imagine. The high waist and double pleat ensure extreme comfort and an interesting design feature. The cut is classic and relaxed, resembling tailored trousers, with the lines following the natural shape of the leg. So it can be dressed up a bit. I think the black linen trousers would work with your capsule.
@@olakunleadegbola Sweet thank you for the recommendation!
Love lined but also have some heavy linen garments
Interesting! I haven’t dove that deep yet but intend to in the future!
Get a streamer 4 ur linen...i have a number of linen products
Appreciate the recommendation! I’ve been ironing but will try out steaming thanks!
😊❤🎉💯.
What the heck is a wife beater ?
Like an undershirt tank top essentially haha.
@@moderntrend2981 a vest or simmit 🤔
@@habl00pep yeah vest would be another word for it
Iron linen?? Pure heresy
Haha to each their own Roger 🤞🏼
Worst fabric on the planet!
To each their own I guess. What don’t you like about it? I want always the biggest fan but found that it has its place, especially in hot weather.
@@moderntrend2981 I love the idea of linen, but I can't get around the way it is always wrinkled and looks like a mess. I should qualify and say, worst fabric for me. wrinkles will be the end of me.... lol
@@Tim.Traveler That's understandable! as I mentioned in the video, you can iron out the wrinkles for maybe a day of wear, but they will always come back. For me, I embrace the wrinkles, especially when wearing linen in a more casual sense.
