You know an ending theme leaves an impact on you when just by hearing "Hey, Hey Samurai Heart" you can immediately envision the rain drops falling from the sky followed by Gintoki and Jirocho. Such an amazing ending!

Thank you for making my childhood one of the best times of my life... Truth is I found Gintama playing randomly on a dubbed anime channel
You made me laugh my ass every single day. Despite the comedy, Gintama's the only one who taught me these "golden values of life" besides Naruto of course. Even if its 300+ episodes long, I can't get tired of laughing my ass off 24/7. Binged watched 15-18 episodes everyday just to catch up the current series and there's even this one time that I tried this "jokes" on my girlfriend and she slapped the sh*t outta me. All in all, its a good anime 👌. If you want to watch comedy, action, and at the same time a dramatic kind of anime, (not including the 18+ jokes) then I recommend you this UNDERRATED masterpiece.

Never seen Gintama, but this and "Pray," are really making me want to change that.
Watch it best decision I've made
Start on episode 3 since that's where the story truly starts first 2 are just filler
First 30-ish episodes are character introductions and world building may not seem relevant at first but excluding the first 2 episodes everything is canon and a must watch
Oh and episode 58-61 is the 1st serious arc of the series that hooks everyone in but it's better to watch the movie ver. Of that arc with updated visuals and added scenes
