The screwed up thing is, that would have been an AMAZING day for RCR and DEI. Michael Waltrip won, Dale Jr. came in second, and Dale would have finished third. But it turned out to be the saddest day in Nascar. Dale wasn't done yet. He would have kept racing and he probably would have started winning again like he did in the 80s and 90s.

It's been 18 years and I still cry thinking about what happened to Dale I am a true fan and I was blessed to be able to have my picture made with him and to meet him in person I love Dale and I always will no one will ever take his place or even try
