Ryobi designer “we’ve made the end of the saw ergonomically shaped to reduce operator stress”, Ryobi Salesman “ Kleeman will buy this”, Ryobi Engineer “He’ll use it as hammer, better quadruple the plastic in the handle “, Ryobi Designer face palms and storms off. 😂😂
You have beatifully summed up this channel! 😂
Modern day "Red Green Show"
This kind of sums up my life as a test engineer. One test, I had a design engineer with 20-30 years experience look at me and go, “I’ve never seen one of these fail like this. Another time, a design team swore to me up and down that everything was tested and good to go . . . I broke 3 samples right out of the box.
Hey guys and gals, 84k views and less than 2k likes??? What is not to like about the Captain? Give the video a thumbs up especially on these smaller channels. Help the guy out, if for no other reason than the sarcasm and jokes. Wish I could like it twice, I would if I could.
For many, they finish and forget. I used to be that way so now I like the video before I watch it (on channels I support). It’s free for me and it makes a difference too. More views/subs/likes/shares = more revenue ….more rev. -> better content.
@@genesispuredeaf2390 Exactly what I do. If I’m on watch it that means I like it unless there’s something I really don’t want and then I’ll change it afterwards
@@paulprigge1209 I’ve only change a “like” one time because I felt obligated to convert it to a thumbs down ….usually I just don’t keep watching them (their channel).
“I need a hammer or a rock”
-Swings Ryobi chainsaw like a boss.
Never change Captain.
Comment of the day “Organic Rebar”🤣😂
Sometimes a fellow doesn't have anything intelligent to say, so he just leaves a comment for the algorithm.😺
MIKE, ballsy move with the dozer crossing that bridge! Well done.
Carry on Capt'n!
my guy put some faith in his rock bridge he built didnt he?
I was digging out an old pond that had silted in, in my woods, and all I had was my tractor and bucket, and a few chains to pull out some stumps.
Getting the tractor into the pond was the hard part.
I thought to myself, "How would Captain Kleeman do this?"
Three hours later I had the pond dug out, down to good red clay, smoothed the banks, and added fill to the back side of the dam just to get rid of the dirt.
Thanks Captain for being there, virtually of course, but you were still of some help due to your ingenuity, and my picking up some tips from you!
Mike - you obviously have mastered having fun at life…
I was puckering when you went across the stone bridge with the D4 impressive captain love the content 👍👋🇨🇦
4:00 a.m. Captain, nothing better! ❤ Awesome job on the culvert and cleaning up the road way. Thank you for sharing 👌 😊
I'm sure man behind the scenes is a bit upset that you have his dozer haha
If you can get a section of that at like 36" diameter, you can drill a bunch of holes all throughout it and feed scrap wire in those holes. Homemade entrapment prop for your fire station to train on self extrication.
Any day running a Dozer is a good day in my books.
Absolutely
Bro. Your Dozer content is the best. It’s rare, but it’s some of the best on to tubes. Well done.
I want to rent you random pieces of equipment just to see what you do with it. 😂
I'm really looking forward to the next 17000 videos.
Grapple works great.
You could get a nice cushioned lawn chair, cut the legs down, and put it in the backhoe.
Or he could just reinstall the actual seat that belongs in it but he promised that starting a Patreon account wasn’t going to make him change. 😉
Shaping up good captain! Nice to have friends willing to rent out equipment when needed and also that grapple bucket is really putting in work on the old triple nickel.
That grapple's gotta be one of the best purchases made for the 555
Thanks for great videos. Captain you keep our lives adventuresome. We know you are going to figure it out, one way or another.
Love the dozer mirror😊
If nothing else, you are persistent, a very quality to have. Thanks for the video.
that good ole A.D.D coming in to play, right after saying not gonna move the rocks, gonna focus on dozer work, he starts moving the rocks
“Organic rebar” 🤣
The next time, I’m too lazy to pick sticks out of a pushed up pile, I’m using that!
🤣
Well done on your little road. Glad to see your bridge is working well. Keep up the good videos
How amazing is that grapple. The roads are looking good. That 555 is a blessing for you. Stay safe
Captain great video! You’re getting a lot done in a short amount of time! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
best "how to" channel on UA-cam. 🙂
With the 555 , you are skillmajacated. Not really a word, but you get the idea.
You are so right. When opportunity knocks, open the door. That dozer is nice but I am really impressed with the grapple on the triple nickel. I like to wrap those culvert joints with fiberglass weave feed sacks.
Good morning sunshine! Best way to start my day is with your video! Thanks for taking us along on your journey! Much love from Henderson Ga USA
Ready to see the abandoned property cleaned back up
the amount of work you accomplish with the backhoe is phenominal- and your mods to the backhoe--this is my favorite yt channel
All the right tools for the job at hand. You are lucky to have DP around who has what you need. Looking good Mike.
Awesome job improving the bridge road Captain.
It'll definitely make it a way better track for the wife and kids to ride on safely.
That was handy Mike leaving a D4 at arms length, we'll probably get told at Christmas that you used it. 🤣😂 Good seeing the wooden bridge, it looks really good. That grapple is xa game changer, it's going to make life a lot easier. 👍
It is interesting that the creek is the general dividing line between the two types of rock.
Ya the dump truck sure would be handy for this road work.😎👍
Well not yet, not sure where I would have used it. But at some point
I'm here wishing I could be down there helping out!!! Keep on doing Cap!
Hello Mike. You knew you had built the bridge correctly, I think you just wanted to be sure. Have good days!
I love all those big rocks you get to use! I'm sure it does make the ground difficult to work with but man what nice finds!
Yes, Mike. I’m going along for the experience of you building your future.
"I need a hammer or a rock." (grabs the chainsaw and starts pounding) Can't call it hammering and if I say chainsawing everybody will figure cutting.
I need a hammer or a rock.... Hey, look, there's my chainsawhammer😂😂.
Later in the video, "seeing how this is not my dozer. We're gonna take it a little easy here."
We bought some acreage and I got a grapple for my tractor to do some clearing/cleaning up and, man, I cannot tell you how many hours of cutting and dragging limbs, logs, rocks.... it has saved me. I think it is one of the most worthwhile investments you could make if you are going to be clearing and cleaning up some land. I cannot recommend getting one enough.
Thanks Mike, enjoyed your video as always. 😊
The timber bridge needs a coat of timber oil. Where I grew up that meant mixing roofing tar/sealant (like you smear on the back side of chimney flashing and roof vent penetration boots(?)) and mix it with Varsol, and Linseed oil. We would paint the bridges across the creek as well as the boat dock/fishing pier on the pond and on the river early every late summer/early fall. By painting it on I really mean we sprayed it on with a sprayer my grandpa had made from a 30lb Freon canister with a screw in valve. He had drilled a hole in it to install a screw together valve stem like used on some mag wheels wheels and a hose that would screw onto the valve of the tank that was about 8 feet long and spray wand he fabricobbled together from a ball valve an old blow gun a couple feet of tubing and a tip he made so it would spay the stuff in a nice fan pattern. Spraying on the “Wood Goop” as my Grandpa called in the when it was still warm seemed to help it soak in better and by spring of next year you could walk on them and not track the goop around. This was definitely a bonus when going barefoot (like us kids did all summer) because otherwise my Grandma or my Mom would make us scrub our feet in turpentine to the goop of them and I don’t know about you but if I get turpentine on my skin I don’t care how much or with what I can still smell turpentine hours later and that just is not a smell I want to be smelling when in bed
Man I don't even like when my front end begins to come up let alone both wheels completely off the ground. Nice job working it out of there.
Brave young man.
Like the video Capt , you done a very good job on your Road .
Thanks
Maybe you need to take a page from Matt at Diesel Creek. Go to a Richie Bros. auction and look for a bulldozer in the inoperable section. Get it home, repair it, and you have a dozer you could possibly afford.
Limestone is compressed and heated shells and coral. The sandstone is compressed and heated beach sand. A few hundred of millions of years ago. Like yesterday in Geology.
Now that road is looking great, good job Mike
Mike, now that you have that high speed roadway built, you may want to build a runaway vehicle ramp.
🤣
its nice to have friends with big toys that you can rent that culvert should last a lot longer they a store bought one
Absolutely
Super neat update on the bridge project!!! I want to drive my Chevy across it now.
Love the organic rebar? Another awesome video sir. Love the channel. Thank you
Mike, wrap the pieces you are trying to slide into the non modified culvert with a small section of duct tape. Then you can easily do it solo. :)
That's a clever idea. I'll try that next time. Thanks!
Triple 5 coming back up the driveway/hill looked like fun Capt. grapple already paying off. those field tile cores cheap reliable for many applications. weather this year is goofy isnt it
Boy, that old backhoe got some pretty good traction all by itself
Culvert at the wood bridge project, looks like a good address stone to me 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hmmm, I wondered where the D4G had gone. This road project looks looks great!
Remember, there is only going to be one way to keep rainwater off the road, you have to crown it in the middle, or make the middle of the road higher, and the edges lower, and dig ditches on both sides for the rain water to run away into the woods. I didn't see much crown but maybe the camera didn't show it. Keep up the good work.
Bonjour Mike super la nouvelle autoroute pour aller chez toi magnifique ton travail bisous de papy Gilbert de France 😅😊❤❤
I don't use my Case 450 Dozer a lot, but when I do, it's a very handy tool to have around the farm! It's great that you have Mike and his equipment right there handy where you live! Great video! Thanks Mike! Lee
I've put some hours on a 450, that thing is a knee destroyer lol. Good little machines though.
The Kleeman Khronikles continue......"natural rebar" in the dirt, I like that analogy....like in concrete the natural rebar helps to keep the dirt "together." Bridge approaches are looking good and I'm glad the bridge held up to the weight of the bulldozer. Speaking of bulldozer you can tell that MBTS was the last driver before you got it because it was full of "bull" and there's nobody who can BS like MBTS. Ole DP manages to keep it topped off but we know who the bull "main liner" is! As always, great channel, great content.
Great video Mike getting closer
Thanks
Hey Mike that Dirt Perfects a handy friend to have he,s got all the toys a fella could need 😊😊😊
Kym
Adelaide
You did a great job with the dozer Mike of that road/ track.
Well done and thanks for sharing.
You accomplished quite a bit on the bridge road project, looks good your mind is going full throttle.great video as always.just keep doing your thing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
So happy you gave us all the look around the stone bridge….I know it wasn’t just my comment. Thank you anyhow
One comment that stood out “this looks like it’s gonna be a pushing rock”. 💪
That pipe looks like ADS N-12 and they make couplers to put them together without bell ends. They’re pretty cheap and easy to use. They are kind of like a clamshell and fit over the pipe and zip tie closed.
Yup, but cheap isn't free 💪
4.9 likes and 22,499 views, the Captain is giving you some dirt moving skills.Go Captain Go!!
💪
Oh man, you're getting so technical with moving counterweights etc. And now you're bulldozer operator. Sure are a big shot.
Another awesome video Captain. From kiwi land.
Great to see you on a dozer, Mike! Also great test of the stone bridge!
Hi Mike & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mike & Friends Randy
8:35 You may have been able to use a few joining collars and save yourself the hassle of having to trim the fat of the ends of the culverts (but I know, cheap is cheap and free is cheaper)
All looking good Mike 👍 Great work, excellent video 👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
That worked out well, sir! Great job! 👍😀
Good Morning Captain!!
Everything is looking good. T
Looking good
Lol organic rebar, that's a new one 🤣
I like the grade outs your doing, its looking great, things are really coming together now, its a little at a time when you have the time, it gets er down. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching, appreciate ya bud.
D4 put a big smile on your face!!!💪🤗🇺🇸
You can use the grapple to find the right sized Boulder to fit that adjustable counterweight, when you do paint it red and set it aside
They make plastic clamshell clamps specifically for connecting that pipe...
I have already watched on Patreon. Great video.
Build a t p or tent temporarily over the cab of the truck to paint it
Awesome guys ❤
Good luck with your work
Awesome job!
I bet the 850 would be ok crossing that bridge. You built it pretty good. Although it probably wouldn’t be wide enough for the 850. lol
Thanks Mike,peace brother…
Great vid captain. Love the humour.
Thanks!
Enjoyed your video as always
I,like I like it too
Sometimes you just have to borrow stuff..... handy that Mike left the D4 so close to you 😂
Your bridge supports have cured enough to support the dozer, now that is a huge win !!! 😃
Culvert will work fine, only the finest clay will do for backfill 😂
Road came out great! See you still remember hiw to operate the d4 lol!😂😂. Sounds like you folks out thier is getting our weather out thier and eere getting yours! ( and i live in da pnw!) Have a grrat week mike!
Hi Mike. Could a fella use a couple ratchet straps run through the culvert, to pull the sections together, if he didn't have a backhoe handy? The dozer did a nice job of evening out the to/from the stone bridge. It's got a bit of gravity to her and crushed up the blocks and concrete pretty well too. Handy to have for moving earth!
