The MICHELIN Guide invites you to explore the diversity of the Spanish culinary scene and its rich heritage throughout some of our best local spots. For five days we traveled through Castilla-La Mancha, exploring gastronomic, cultural and natural treasures of the region. The route took us to Toledo where we will celebrate the next MICHELIN Guide Spain & Portugal 2023.
The guest chef Paco Morales from the Noor restaurant (2 MICHELIN stars) in Córdoba, was accompanied by two amazing hosts on his journey: Iván Cerdeño, from 2 MICHELIN star restaurant Iván Cerdeño in Toledo and Pepe Rodríguez from El Bohío in Illescas, 1 MICHELIN star. The dinner at Cigarral Viñedos de Santa María was the first of a series of unforgettable experiences like visiting the workshop of Mazapán Santo Tomé, at Bodega Loranque or the painting The Burial of the Lord of Orgaz, a masterpiece by El Greco. The meals at El Bohío and Iván Cerdeño showed the high level of Castilian-La Mancha gastronomy, and left us with the best taste in our mouths for the next MICHELIN Guide Spain & Portugal 2023 Gala.

La Guía MICHELIN le hace descubrir la diversidad del panorama culinario español y de su rico patrimonio en torno a a los mejor sitios locales. Durante cinco viajes por las otras tantas provincias de Castilla-La Mancha, descubrimos todos los tesoros gastronómicos, culturales y naturales de esta región. Esta ruta nos lleva hasta la provincia en cuya capital celebraremos la próxima Gala de la Guía MICHELIN España & Portugal 2023: Toledo. La ciudad de las tres culturas, será la anfitriona el próximo martes 22 de Noviembre del evento gastronómico más importante del año, donde se revelarán todas las novedades de la edición 2023 de la Guía MICHELIN.
El chef invitado Paco Morales del restaurante Noor (2 Estrellas MICHELIN), de Córdoba, contó con dos cicerones de lujo en esta ruta: Iván Cerdeño, del restaurante con 2 Estrellas MICHELIN Iván Cerdeño de Toledo y Pepe Rodríguez de El Bohío de Illescas, con 1 Estrella MICHELIN. La cena en el Cigarral Viñedos de Santa María fue la primera de una serie de experiencias inolvidables como las vividas en el obrador artesanal de Mazapán Santo Tomé, en la Bodega Loranque o ante el cuadro de El entierro del Señor de Orgaz, obra maestra de El Greco. Las comidas en El Bohío y en Iván Cerdeño pusieron en evidencia el elevado nivel del que goza actualmente la gastronomía castellano-manchega, y nos dejaron con el mejor sabor de boca de cara a la próxima Gala de la Guía MICHELIN España & Portugal 2023.
