I don’t know how I’ve gotten so over “Life and Death” videos so quickly. Just wanted to say thanks for doing different things that inspire my gameplay on the regular ❤
Yeah, obviously I don't know about others, but to me at least, the gameplay of life and death is more .. personal, in a way, so I want to play it myself, not watch others f around with it. 😅 I don't get emotionally invested in other people's Sims gameplay enough to watch their life's journey, atm. I enjoy the "Side Quest" style videos more.

It would cost a lot more than a thousand dollar just for a painter. Never mind the plumber, carpenter, electrician, and other professionals that would need to fix this. Saying that Whiny is being generous is an understatement of disastrous proportions. Major LOL.
There is a mod called "Mischievous sims can swipe" which allows you to swipe valuable items at mischief lvl 2. Btw, Judith's most valuable items is the statues at the entrance, costing 8k each
About the ability to steal things i'm pretty sure the higher your mischief skill (there's some skill attached to theft dont remember exactly) but it allows you to steal better things the higher the skill!!
I love upgrading every single appliance, piece of furniture, and electronic in the households I create because it always gives automatic positive mood buffs to my sims and makes it easier to keep everyone happy. That said, it does take forever to upgrade every single thing, especially since multiple upgrades can be made on a single object and that can become tedious when you’re playing with a big house, so I like to make it a designated sim’s job to be the live-in handyman, making them go room by room, while my other sims live their lives. Two storylines ideas I usually play with when I do that: 1. A rich sim, usually living with a sibling and/or a child in a huge Hollywood-style mansion. They have a butler they grew up with and are extremely close to like a second parent. The butler is dedicated to going the extra mile to making sure their lives are enhanced in every way possible, because they’re more than just employers at this point-they’re like family. He’s raised these kids their whole lives, so he’s always there for them not just physically, but emotionally, especially since the death of the rich sim’s father (whom they received the house and inheritance from) is affecting the rich sim immensely and declining their quality of life severely. The rich sim has never really had to work but knows their inheritance won’t last forever. They have a plan to invest in something with longevity but don’t know where to start and feel discouraged. (Sometimes I even add in a relationship issue to really pile on top of the rich sim). The butler has an array of his own skills and connections and with that in mind, is determined to help turn this unfortunate situation around. He wants to patch together this unconventional family dynamic as best he can, and help give that final push that the rich sims weren’t able to get from their father. But in the meantime while everyone takes time to grieve, he’ll work on those upgrades to help improve their everyday lives a bit more. 2. In an apartment, a well-off sim having an affair with the building handyman who lives in the apartment next door. They meet at the mailboxes when their partner is at work, one thing leads to another, and now the handyman is sprung. The other sim likes the handyman, but isn’t as invested in the connection, seeing as their partner has an extremely high-paying job and they don’t plan to give up their luxurious lifestyle. In a quest to earn the sim’s love, the handyman tries to demonstrate that he can be just as valuable as their partner and always stays around after a hook-up to do some upgrades around the house. Whether he succeeds or not is up to you, but in the meantime, enjoy the free upgrades. Feel free to use these storylines or build off of them!

The tree breaking through the ground floor was awesome. I would love to know how they did it. LOL. I'm assuming that it was a cheat and a mod. Because I couldn't figure out to turn a tree sideways. Either way it was awesome. LOL.

Welcome to the Sims 4. LOL. It bombards you with things that you don't want one minute and the next you can't get anything. LOL.
Fun tip - if you can't drag and sell something in your inventory, turn on multi-select and select it. You can then sell it with no issues.
The only thing I steal is every Sims expansion pack. All hail Anadius.
