Picketpost to Roger's Trough to Reavis Ranch to Lake Roosevelt to halfway up to Four Peaks in 3 days is pretty good. Good practice for the Mazatzal Mountains that are coming up. Don't worry the weather is about to change and you'll be missing the cool temps.

Its most likely a yucca or agave.
I love hiking the Supes around Roosevelt.

Also, I tried using one of those accordion-style sleeping pads by Thermarest and they were terribly uncomfortable. I don’t know how people use them, but kudos to you. Unless you use it for additional insulation below your inflatable sleeping pad.
