There are three ways to get rid of pesky sons that families don't want to inherit their house: * Sent to the Wall - Sam * Kings Guard - Jaime * Castration - Theon, Varys (and Night King???) Who the hell would pay so much for Varys... Tywin. Just like Tywin/Robert wanted to go after Dany decades later... Tywin found the last Lord of Tarbeck. The reason Tywin didn't just kill Varys is because it would be kin slaying as he is his nephew. The whole castration doesn't make sense nor does it rhyme with ANYTHING the Red priest have done. Melisandre would have taken his blood or just killed him out right like Shireen... why castration??? Because it was done under pretence so that it could not be traced back to the originator... This is Tywin's MO (no blood on my hands) Melisandre even says that most of her "magic" was just tricks ... anyone could conjure up blue fire... and under those circumstances Varys could have heard anything. No such thing as a random castration. Wasn't there a Targaryen who threaten his younger brother with castration??? These castrations they were meant to put the last nail in hereditary offspring. The red herring is that he is a secret Targaryen... but really he is a secret Lannister/Tarbeck.
So in the first season Varys tells everybody in the council that Daenerys is pregnant. And after that news King Robbert tells Ned Stark to send an assassin and kill her. And then in season five it turns out that Varys is Daenerys ally. That doesn't make sense.
Because in the books he was trying to put someone else on the iron throne. The GOT writers decided not to do that storyline so they changed it to Daenerys
I honestly, whole heartedly believe his story. Especially when it comes to his intentions. He has always been upfront about his motives, and I believe that his friend was telling the truth about him.. because it all adds up. He is polar opposite of Little-finger.. where Little-finger would use any means to advance himself. Varys would use his advantages to maintain equilibrium and balance. Peace essentially. Because his "Power" only Derives from Peace. War isn't just "Bad for Business", it's LITERALLY Bad for any/everyone effected by it. Most notably, his Little Mice/Birds. That's why he gave that Speech to Ned. He already helped Smuggle Daenerys and Viserys out of Westeros, it seems odd that people doubt he wouldn't have tried to Smuggle out Aegon as well.. shiiiieeet.. it wouldn't surprise me at all if he HAD successfully Smuggled out ALL four Targaryens, and we haven't been privy to the reveal of Rhaenys yet. But yeah, if you look at all the evidence that HAS been revealed about Varys.. he maybe a very introvert guy, but he has proven time and time again to be genuinely honest and upfront about his actions. And his Actions are Honorable.

Maester Yandel describes *Walderan Tarbeck* (Varys's grandpa) as having been florid (reddish; ruddy; rosy: a florid complexion. flowery; excessively ornate; showy)
*Varys* is a plump, bald, and effeminate eunuch. He has soft white hands. He powders his face and smells of lavender, lilacs, and rosewater. When at court, Varys wears rich silks, velvets, and damasks and soft slippers.
Varys is the perfect combination of his father and grandfather.
There are three ways to get rid of pesky sons that families don't want to inherit their house:
* Sent to the Wall - Sam
* Kings Guard - Jaime
* Castration - Theon, Varys (and Night King???)
Who the hell would pay so much for Varys...
This is Tywin's MO (no blood on my hands)
Melisandre even says that most of her "magic" was just tricks ... anyone could conjure up blue fire... and under those circumstances Varys could have heard anything.
No such thing as a random castration. Wasn't there a Targaryen who threaten his younger brother with castration??? These castrations they were meant to put the last nail in hereditary offspring.
The red herring is that he is a secret Targaryen... but really he is a secret Lannister/Tarbeck.
I never understood why Varys was so loyal to the Targaryens. What made him so loyal to the Mad King and his son?
He was never loyal to the Targs.
Jazmine Lee i mean he advised Arys not to open his gates to Tywin. Would you do that to someone your not loyal to
@@theboy1625 He also made Aerys far more paranoid then before.
sometimes i think rugen is the real varys and varys is just a persona for entertaining political machinations
Always love you videos, I cant wait until the Prequel series comes out just so I can watch more of your content!
:)
The main reasons I think Varys is a Targaryen is because he keeps his head shaved--maybe to hide that famous Tardaryen hair color?
So in the first season Varys tells everybody in the council that Daenerys is pregnant. And after that news King Robbert tells Ned Stark to send an assassin and kill her. And then in season five it turns out that Varys is Daenerys ally. That doesn't make sense.
Because in the books he was trying to put someone else on the iron throne. The GOT writers decided not to do that storyline so they changed it to Daenerys
Can' t wait for video' s from you regarding the prequel series ..
theres a prequel?
The Blackfyre Spider. Cool 😂👍
He kinda forgot all of that in season 8
Radioactive spider bite.
Are you related to the youtuber Top5s ? Cause both of y'all videos are relaxing
Can you do a video on the war of the ninepenny kings
I wonder if Varys could be a faceless man. In ACOK he says some riddle and says "He is no one" to Tyrion
Not to mention that hooded costume like Jaquen Haquar a and the impossible shit he finds out
*☼ love your work man, real gr8 biz ^^*
So how is it more efficient to cut the little birds tounges
Catherine Oluwole they won’t tell anyone else their secrets because they can’t talk
@@trevorm1876 It will also be a struggle to get them to tell you the whispers they heard lol
WE NEED TO GO DEEPER
Real Varys would’ve waited to fix the problem. Not have been so rushed with it. He even said he wasn’t a hero.
Arachnus Spinner FTW
It wasn't a priest or priestess who bought Varys.
It was a "second rate sorcerer" who kidnapped him.
ok, now that I discovered Varys removes tongues from children made me completely lose any kind of support for him
Great video, dude
i actually didn't notice most of these identities
Can you be ready to cover the wheel of time series and the new lord of the rings tv show on this channel?
Enjoy the channel. I think a confirmed kill count for both show and the book would be a cool video to see.
a spider whisperes for a dragon
Power resides where men believe it resides, it's a trick, really.
Luís A shadow on the wall. And a very small man can cast a very large shadow
I can’t get over that the mountain was Varys all along #cleganebrawl
Omg spoilers much? It's even worse than when I found out Jorah was lady stoneheart all along...
@@alexsm3882 what about ser pounce being azor ahai?
I always felt that the red god is just a powerful sorcerer or blood mage
any chance book varys is actually aegon V (egg) in sort of a self exile in essos?

The flames were blue, so it was the night king
Great video, thanks for telling me about Varys the Spider
If Varys was born a slave, why doesn't he have a tatoo on his face ?
Only slaves from Volantis are branded with tattoos
@@darkshadows76 Oh, I didn't remeber that! Thank you!
He came to an ashy eeennd , dont think he will ever meeennd
After watching this I wonder if Varys is no one and has a God with many faces
Trinston was here
Do how vargo hoat became the goat.
Make a video about Dragonstone
Is that why he shaves his head, to hide his snow-white hair?
He def isn't Targaryen. Doesn't anyone else remember in the 2nd or 3rd book is says Varys has dark hair?? I know it said this, I'm not crazy..
anyone knows Varys hair color?
👍WE ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO 👏
* I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO VARY'S STORYLINE !
VARYS & OLD MAN MORMONT WERE MY FAVES.
YES, THE STORYLINES DO ALOT OF SHIFTING & IT'S WHAT MAKES IT INTERESTING... IS PPL'S OWN INTERPRETATION.
* VARYS, I UNDERSTAND, CAME FROM A PROMINENT FAMILY, WAS KIDNAPPED BUT SEEMS THE FAMILY DIDN'T LOOK FOR HIM OR THEY COULDN'T FIND HIM AS HE WAS TOO FAR AWAY ? IDK.
* I WAS CURIOUS ABT THE ONE WHO WHISPERED TO VARYS & THE REASON FOR THE BLUE FLAME.
* I HAVE MY THOUGHTS ON WHAT THE BLUE FLAME MEANT BUT I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT GRRM SAID IT MEANT TO HIM.
* I STILL BELIEVE THEON SHOULD HAVE BUTCHERED RAMSEY, LIKE THE WAY D & D 🔪 DID TO THE FINALE.

Why does all of his other personas have to be smelly people though!?! 😂😂😂
I think because Eunachs lose bladder control. They mention when Varys is being Varys he smells strongly of perfume.
