Great job Chris If all you had go bad was a belt that sounds like a good day to me. When you have a great partner like Yenko and get down at his height he wants to play. My dog is the same way. Hope you get some rest and have a good night and Take Care
Hey duffy just a thought to maybe be able to follow you around a little better. Post a picture of The field when you seeded it. Just to be able follow you when you are chopping. Keep sending The good content. Best regards from sweden 😊
My cousins and uncle have a farm. I get over there when I can to help. Watching all of your vids especially last ones. I'm so ready to get started on corn. We only have a 790. But always enjoyed corn season
And who knows where he was at before Chris came back, quite possibly spooling down the business/farm. If that's the case he's now being prodded to spool back up quickly. Add in some unknown possible family personal and interaction history AND the "is my kid gonna stick with it" question all parents have, which is multiplied when a family business is involved and things get hot and muddy real quick. I'm not throwing stones, ascribing blame, or claiming that I know anything at all about what's going on.
4pm look forward to it everyday. just got back to nc from summer in maine...stayed in your area overnight....how the he'll do you drive on those tight roads. we have class a rv and it was tight.
Sounds like if you told your dad that you don’t need another R model and tanker and trailer, he’ll go out and get one! It’s hard to deal with family sometimes.
Alright there lads. Question... Can you not get floatation tyres for the smaller trucks, or is there a reason why you haven't already got them on.?🤔? LOVE THE VIDS.🥰🥰... KEEP'EM COMING.🤞🥰... RICH(UK).🥰🥰🥰.!.!.!
Way to go Chris! Waiting for trucks sucks, but your keeping the harvest going. Do you have a plan for the silage that won't fit in the bunk? Didn't know if you were going to use the silos or bag it or what, just curious. Good seeing you keeping on!
would a tow cart be a good idea behind the chopper when full they could be towed by any thing going farm way might be a pain but surely the main objective is keeping the chopper moving.
Not a good idea because it kills choppers as far as the hydrostat and I would get stuck quickly then have to pull out 2 pieces of equipment you will see in next video
I hope you got an new corn planter next year witch the right row spacing. I hate it to see spots being missed because the row spacing is of. Now you cut 5 or 6 rows. And if everything is on right spacing you can get 6 and follow the middle line.
where exactly are you farming? Is this near a village or town? It seems pretty, but near suburbia. It reminds me a lot of some of the farm communities around and nearby Green Bay WI, as well as around the bluffs in Trempealeau County/ or Buffalo County when the farm/wooded bluffs come near villages and there are "scenic view" suburb houses plotted every which way

Looking forward to seeing that video, I've always been interested in taking stuff apart, I don't always get things back together without the odd spare nut, bolt or washer! But, hey that's farming.
Compacting sand against a concrete wall put in small lifts close to wall will put less pressure on wall. If sand left loose against wall that will actually cause wall to flex. Above is fact
If you are seriously looking for another R Model Mack, Onelonelyfarmer(Wes) did have a R Model Mack road tractor for sale. May want to contact him and see if he still has it.
You probably get asked this a lot. How much waste do you figure you have per field with everything chopped that doesn't make it in the truck. I'm assuming it doesn't add up to much.
Why do you have the trucks follow side by side ? You end up losing quite a lot of silage off the side of the trailer. Why not just follow behind each other? . You can stop the chopper for a couple seconds while losing a lot less material. Especially when you said you don’t have enough trucks.
@@DuffyAg He sounds like some old farmers I've worked for in the past , tight with the money and since he has you buying equipment why should he. Hope the rest of harvest goes good. The big boys here in Central Illinois are going ape shit , shelling corn and cutting beans. I hear the corn is drying down quick with the lower humidity and warm weather.

Appreciate that

Great job Chris

Thats for sure was a good day and why I always have a spare on hand
Might be time for dad to step back and realize he raised good men and let them take the reigns.
That's a far more diplomatic way of saying what I had in mind...
👌👌👌 hard for farmers to do that tho
@@DuffyAg hard for old folks in general to do it
Dad can probably still outwork most of us here!!!!!
Give Yenko a good squeeze and a treat he’ll get you through them depressing moments.
Stay safe and stay strong.
Great video Yanko is getting hypnotized by the corn in the dark lol. Feed looks great. Keep it going.
Was a good day indeed. I always enjoyed Chopin corn . I love the smell 😍.

I’d be fricken irate if my dad did something like that. You kept your composer very nicely on camera. Keep up the good work Duffy ag
I have grievances with upper management as well all part of the course on a family farm

Chris I love your channel you are so natural “no B S”, thanks, a question from a non farmer why do you leave so much on the corn stalks
Nice job Chris keep up the great content I like your goals need a new to you mack and dump trailer for 2022
Great video thanks
Appreciate what y'all do to get videos out everyday . Not sure if OLF still has his R model but that would be a good truck .
Sharing Duffy Ag. Have a blesses and productive weekend. Buddy
Thanks for watching
You still having trouble finding someone with Dairy experience?
We started chopping here today. Pretty good corn here
Great job Chris

Might be a good idea to carry a few spare belts and the tools to replace them on the chopper. Might save you down time heading home to do it.

Volmerfilm video had a really nice 695 mega on today, no rust anywhere. Your doing a great job love the daily content. Any update on merch yet?
Oh yeah? After corn I will get it all moving. Got shirt samples the other day to confirm on
Maybe your dad wanted the silage packers to stay away from the wall for safety reasons 🤔
👍👍
Good job!
I heard that screaming on last nights video lol thought next problem dead ahead

You need a live floor trailer with tall sides, maybe a triple to max out weight.
Chris - Did you hit your fields yet? Just wondering if you got the results you desired. Keep on farming bud!
Hoping to tomorrow
Hi Duffy.
Question...
When you say "upper management", do you mean your father.?🤔?
Is it a family farm, or am I way off.?🤔?
LOVE THE VIDS.🥰🥰...

RICH(UK).🥰🥰🥰.!.!.!
Upper management is my father. The farm is his I'm just an employee. I own Duffy Ag and the chopper trucks manure hauling equipment and 7520
Are you going to do any custom chopping this fall?
Is your farm out off Vermont
Do you put anything in the silos
If you don't why don't you
Tamma looks like she was about to beat your ass LOL
Were are your side wall covers?
Can you look with your brother for some shop buildings or land??
He talked about it once.
Land in near him in Mass is like $100,000 per acre
Someday I'd like to but yes land prices are so high to do so
How many acres do you have to chop in this fall?
Greetings from Germany
Awesome!! Chris, your chopper is 4wheel drive?
Hi are you not using the 7520 J D ? best wishes .
Clutch problems
Is the t shirts 👕 in yet Duffy ag
Hopefully I'll have it lined up after corn
Are most of the dirt roads in care of the farm or the state
The dirt roads are mostly just paths that we maintain back
Where is the 7520? That should be heavy enough to pack the edge of the bunk and not get stuck with the dual tires on it
Has clutch issues so have to dive back into it later on
Looking forward to seeing that video, I've always been interested in taking stuff apart, I don't always get things back together without the odd spare nut, bolt or washer! But, hey that's farming.

Why is the other Truck aside when actually needs to stay behind the truck so that less silage losing… bad coordination seems like
One lonely farmer has a sweet R model he was trying to sell
why not pull wagons
