Thank you for the response. I’m in the early stages of building an electric go kart, so lately I’ve been curious about this stuff. Are the batteries connected in series, in parallel, or a combination of both? Also, what brand are they?
My motor and ESC runs at 72volts. I'm using 12volt lead acid batteries. I have 6 wired in series to get 72 volts. (12volts X 6 = 72volts). so you only need 6 But I have another 6 batteries wired in parallel to the other 6 batteries to get a longer battery life. so my go-kart has 12 lead acid batteries only for a longer battery life but you only need 6 batteries.
Sick build cant wait to see you drift it😊 and this music is fire.
glad you like music and thanks for watching the video
Loved the video! What batteries are you using?
The ones in the front row are 12volt 7amp-hour lead acid batteries
the ones in the second row are 12volt 10amp-hour lead acid batteries

In the my (how to get ESC working) video, I have all the info you need. But yes, its a combination of wiring the batteries in series and in parallel.
Thank you! I’ll watch the video now.
How many battery are needed and how much volt battery?
