  • Mr. Aashutosh Barahi is Content Creator who has life goal of becoming number one entertainer and social artist of Nepal.
During childhood Mr. Aashutosh used to sketch a lot so his mom thought he would become a sketch artist but as a child Aashutosh wanted to become an Architect. He was fascinated with the word Architect. Hence after SLC he joined Science faculty to pursue his dream but soon he realized that science was not his cup of cake. He shifted to management field.
Once his brother asked him - what’s next?? You wanted to become an Architect but now you have shifted to Management so what is your next step?? He was confused so randomly he said ….I think I will take computer as a major subject although the real reason behind him saying so was to play games on computer.
He joined Bachelor In Information Technology. During his second year he realized that he was very much interested in web development. He was thrilled to develop his first sign up page after which he decided that he would make career in Web Development. He would research new coding language and use in assignment to develop webpages. He would even lecture his friends on coding. He was super excited to have his passion found at very young age.
After his second year he started looking for internship but was rejected at many places. Then one of his friends referred him to the company in which she was working. They called him for an interview and finally he got selected. He was very excited to be working for the very first time that too as a web developer. Initially he was very excited to be joining the office but later he was shifted to data management because of which he started to lose interest in work.
One fine day he saw a new intern in his office. He was working as editor. That new intern was Dhiraj Magar. Dhiraj Magar is an actor in Nepali Movie Industry today but then he was a youtuber. He used to live in UK but was in Nepal for 2-week vacation. After meeting Dhiraj, Aashutosh was introduced to whole new world of vlogging and video posting in UA-cam. He volunteered to show Dhiraj to different places of Kathmandu Valley, which he was also vlogging. He saw himself for the very first time on screen and it was then he was fascinated with this creative field. This was the turning point of his life, meeting Dhiraj and getting introduced to this new artistic and creative field of content creation.
Soon Dhiraj left for UK. Then Aashutosh decided to make a video. At that time musically was very famous. So he created video on musically which he posted in Facebook. The video was showered with comments and likes and for the first time he was being appreciated for his work. After this he left his web development job and decided that he would work in content creation field.
He joined Cloud Factory so that he could buy a camera. He also joined acting workshop conducted by Fun Revolution TV to know more people in this field and gather more information. After the workshop he also joined the team of Fun Revolution TV. He worked for one and half year in Fun Revolution TV and he considers this time as learning period. Today he is working individually as a content creator moving forward to achieve his dreams.
Lastly he says everything happens for a reason and passion does not remain constant throughout life, its uncertain and keeps changing. This change is not bad if it moves one ahead. So it’s not bad if you change your passion if you think that it is not helping you move ahead.
