Clearly evident Coach Paul Maurice mentally prepared the team well for the Rangers pushback. I love the analogy Paul gave “Just stay in it sometimes you gotta block punches you can’t be throwing and swinging all the time”. And Paul’s right, Rangers owned the first 10 mins, that’s all.

My two fave teams are going at it. Wow. What a game from both teams. Just insane back and forth action. 2 amazing goalies standing on their heads. This is the series we were expecting. I, for one, will be enjoying the show.

2 goals in 130 or so minutes of gameplay for the rangers. No way they were gonna take both games and get a shut out against the presidents cup trophy in msg, it’s gonna be harder than that. It’s still gonna be Panthers in 6, but the cardiac arrest these games induce is nerve wracking. Bob is matching and besting Shesty which is great. Cats haven’t mucked up the goal consistently yet, so start to do that and get weak side support from the FWD’s and a D man here and there, Shesty overplays everything and the net is wide open for rebounds. Should have been a 5-1 game, but the D were playing it safe and not pinching. I get it, but the goals were clearly there. Move on to Game 3. Our crib, our home, our wins coming up. Time to send these bums packing to Cancun.
If the panthers win both I agree the Panthers should wrap this up in 6. As a Rangers fan I know this Florida team is the best team left. That said, I lean in a split over the next two games. I think the Rangers take it in 7 if that happens.

@@danielhayes7960 I think he meant Road game as to actual play. Rangers need to play better as they had the line matchups advantage and barely squeaked out game 2 while losing game 1. Now the line matchups favor Florida for two games.

Teams knew that teams who bully beat teams who get bullied, it’s not rocket science. It’s not rocket science, this was common place in the 70’s for teams to have constant small spats, small scuffs of pushing, face shoving, all in the name of bullying the other team. Why does everyone want to stop teams from bullying each other? Are we really this weak as a society now? Teams knew that teams who bullied won more often then teams who get bullied. They’re trying to get into the rangers heads. It’s such a fun aspect of hockey seeing the post whistle spats, it’s always been apart of hockey up until now where the current generation can’t handle anything that isn’t all clean playing. NHL is now as soft as nba, nfl, soccer. You’re all to blame
