Yes, you have knowledge! The Card is indeed Tzadik, which was an epitaph for a powerful Jebusite God worshipped in Canaan before the reforms of Josiah. And yes! The letter DOES resemble the figure because the original meaning of the letter is 'kneeling man' this is most likely the hieroglyph that the Letter evolved from. The Star card illustrates the Figure known in Judaism as the Tzadik, which is a soul whose merit surpasses his iniquity. It is a title bestowed on an adept who has completely sublimated themselves over to God, suppressing their 'animal' Soul nature into holiness so that they ONLY experience the Awe and love of God, serving as a Merkabah (Vehicle of the Soul) which is why this card is connected to the Chariot Card (the Merkabah) evidenced by the eight-pointed star on the Charioteers forehead. According to Jewish Folklore, there are 36 Tzadik living among us at all times, their presence on earth prevents its complete annihilation. The Soul Star is probably the most enigmatic card in the Tarot deck, there are 7 Eight Pointed Stars above the figure surrounding a larger eight-pointed Star.
