Great video. Would it not have been possible to use a heat gun to gently heat the bend on the front fender to match the existing curve of the sheet metal?
Nice work man I have the same heat gun very i pressed I beat the crap out of it. Painting, working with vinyl and carbon fiber. I use the butt connectors that have solder already in it and it heat shrinks at the same time. Couldn't do it as fast without that heat gun and the attachments
Nice job enjoyed to watch your method to overcome small problems
Thanks!
Wish there was a company that made rear flares with the shape of the yj flare but the opening of the tj flare.
That is a good idea
Very cool. Another great video!)
Thanks!
Thank you for an excellent video!
Thanks for watching!
Looks good. .I like the look and I had thought of trying this but wasn't sure. But I don't want to cut my sheet metal.
Yeah if my tub wasn't already hacked up I wouldn't have done them.

I don't think the end result would look very good
How much clearance at the back of the front fender did you gain?
I should've measured but probably a couple inches including the metal cut.

I've never did gears myself either so I'd appreciate info from your experience .
I've been told the little book that comes with the gears is the best source of info when doing them yourself. We'll see.
Think CJ rear fender flares look the best
I have these on my 90 YJ and I am running 35s .I didn't cut anything. I could run 37s
