    I think they have you peel the film off the adhesive tape after you get the fender flare in place in case you need a wiggle room to get the screws to line up that attach the flares to the mounts. Then you could peel the backing off after the screws are started...at least that would seem like a logical explanation. Thanks for the video, I was thinking about ordering some for my YJ. They look great!

    I have the same on my Hugger Orange ‘87. They are stronger than they look.

    They look great when installed. I found that some of the plastic moulded pieces didn’t sit flat, so I had to file them down a bit. May have been a qc issue but it wasn’t too bad.

    Would the stock factory flare cover the extra holes you made if you wanted to back to stock look?

      I think it would cover. Its mounted on the same line as the stock holes
