What a wonderful video. Seeing France through your eyes was brilliant. You have a unique way of explaining what I'm looking at. Your camera work was incredible - you certainly have a skill Mike. Loved seeing Keira tearing about, enjoying herself very much. The tapestry was very interesting. Not my bag, but well worth a visit all the same. I'm looking forward to the next part of your French trip.
Thanks Michael, we were still novices at Vlogging when in France and hopefully we have got a bit better since then. Its a beautiful country and we will go back when the pandemic settles down.
After wee nippie lets you travel again, will you bring the 'van' back to France? I'm from Scotland but have lived in France for a long time..... I feel your van and you three need a big road trip.... new adventure.. Later on when the virus nonsense has worn thin of course....
Curious: did you go "under" the English Channel to France or "over" on a bridge or both? I was trying to figure that out. Or perhaps went onto a Barge across? The tapestry was something else. What was the actual size? I don't think I heard that in the video.
£217 for two of us for return ticket, plus £40 for Keira. That was for a non-flexible ticket, you pay more for flexible in case you need to change the date but not sure how much more.
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot I’m planning on coming back to the UK next year and there are places I want to go that doesn’t have train service. I’ve thought about renting a car but it’s sort of scary to think about.
Mikeand Tricia - 2 questions, please: 1) did you experience any problems taking Keira to France with you, and 2) now that you have had your van for a few trips, would you recommend having the awning attached to the van, i.e do the extra couple of inches make any difference to entering car parks, etc (van order for delivery next spring)? Thanks!
Hi Philip no problem with Keira but was before Brexit and not sure how it will change. We were a bit worried that the awning would take us over 2 meters and while it does add a couple of inches or so it hasn't been a problem.
Some sunshine, Yay. 🌞🌞

Yes defo, another tour on the cards, playing it by ear and hopefully get over the water later in the year.
Hi, ,great video, did you go to Roscoff and Carantec on your way?
Hi, no we didn't go there but we totally loved it in Bayeux.

How hard is it to go from left to right?
Quite easy, just need to keep reminding each other.
