Lyme's disease is a nightmare.....it's worth whatever a person can do to prevent it. I've never been the same even after multiple rounds of different treatments.
Have fun.
Man I like TJ’s work, I saw that thumbnail out of ten scrolling and new and clicked 👍
Man it's a fantastic blade!
Tested positive for Lyme just today. Use right clothes and right bug treatments.
@@dmitryk754 oh no mam I'm so sorry to hear that!
@@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors could be much worse though, nothing a little antibiotic won’t fix 😅
@@dmitryk754hope ya feel better. Btw that sheath you did for the Forrester has been on my belt for months and is holding up great!
Boom
Get some.

Appreciate you Jake
Thanks!
I looked up the crowbar. Seems like it is meant to be a chopper at 0.35" thick. What else would that thickness work for, lol. Not sure I would want Elmax for that kind of use. I have had Elmax chip severely before, and I like Elmax on folders.
Interesting on the permethrin. We use to use 100% deet, spray on clothing and duct tape BDU's to boots. But Virginia forests has crazy tick issues.
@carscigarsscotchnwatches5158 so I think at some point they were .35" thick but most aren't now.
I used to feel the same about elmax but I have had some AWESOME experiences with it recently.
I think ticks are becoming deet resistant. Permetherin treated clothing + deet or picardin can go a long way!
@@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors Good to know on both counts. I guess Elmax Rc'd at a lower number should posses much more toughness.
@carscigarsscotchnwatches5158 well it's not only that but if you watch outdoor55's video he heat treats 3 knives to the same hrc but with varying degrees of... correctness.
All 3 held an edge the same but the toughness was WILDLY different.
I think folder brands with thin edge geos can be awful because their users likely will never know because toughness isn't needed so they can just chase a hardness number.
@@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors Definitely. But if we are talking about top of the line manufacturers like Spyderco, the HT will be consistent, unlike Ontario for example.
@carscigarsscotchnwatches5158 eeeehhhhhhhhh yes and no. Spyderco overall I agree but that doesn't mean they haven't botched a ht on a batch or on a new steel.
But overall yeah.
Elmax did TERRIBLE when it first became popular. I think ZT was most popular for screwing it up.
Anyways, I'll be abusing the trc apocalypse in Elmax soon so we will see!!! I have already abused it, but soon ill REALLY abuse it.
Of course Joe X abused it and found it lacking- but I test differently.
