I agree with that PV is going to find the cruel truth and how he’s been denying it. (As we see in the 2nd ep that he is the biggest liar) that’s why I think it makes sense why SM is the 3rd beast, the middle of the Beasts and Ancients story, the cruel truth is awakened which can add a twist to the story.
[This turned out longer than it should’ve I’m sorry 😭] I have my own little theory as to how Shadow Milk became corrupted; in one of the leaks on Twitter there’s a tree labeled “forbidden fruit” and in the Bible the forbidden fruit is the apple which granted knowledge to whoever ate it. So my theory is that since Shadow Milk used to own the Light of Knowledge, he either thought he knew everything EXCEPT the one truth that scarred him like you mentioned in your theory, or since he was baked to know everything because of the light he wielded, he was tired of teaching everything to cookies to pass onto his knowledge and knew he couldn’t learn anything new, so he shifted into instead of passing kid knowledge, to spreading rumors and lies that couldn’t be further from the truth (or tying more to the “forbidden fruit”, he could offer PV all of the knowledge Shadow Milk used to have in exhange of his soul jam, which PV will decline). Then again, I think your theory is way better than mine, hopefully it is kind of right to the final story!!
I don't know how to explain how many theories I've seen, but I'm loving them. I also found yours very interesting! I don't have that many theories, but there are others that I think make sense too: -The theory of the fruit of knowledge -The theory that Shadow Milk discovered what it shouldn't have (like White Lily) -And a theory that I don't know the name of, but I saw people saying that maybe he started to lie little by little... It would be interesting but not so much if it was just for fun (I don't have many details unfortunately) But in my opinion/aka the little theories I have.. I still believe that Shadow Milk was either the first beast or the last beast to be corrupted, whatever it is, it makes more sense to me. I made a theory of my own recently so I’m gonna leave it here: So it’s clear based on Beast Yeast Chapter 2 that Shadow Milk can enter Pure Vanilla’s mind to taunt him and I think this is gonna be explored next update. Everything Pure Vanilla Cookie goes through does not happen in the real world but rather the recesses of his mind. Like he’s in this coma caused by Shadow Milk’s magic and has to literally fight his inner demons to see everyone he cares for and fight another day. Whether he succeeds or not is a 50/50 to me personally. If he succeeds, it’s not a complete win and part of his mind is controlled by Shadow Milk which could cause lashing out that’s out of character. And if it’s a failure, PV’s personality takes a U-Turn until the final battle.

Headcannon for Vanilla Cookies story: So basically the first chapter will be about vanilla cookie fighting Shadow Milk Cookie with the guidance of his soul jam, only to realise at the end of th first chapter that he was decieved by Shadow Milk cookie. I think it would be really cool to let pure vanilla face his demons and defeat them, even if it means something horrible, the loss of someone you cared about, the delusions you gave to other people, and the ones you weren’t able to save. Isn't it fascinating, that PV and SM share the same "dimension" in their minds, even though they call it in their own way ("Darkest place of my soul" and "Dark Side of the Moon" accordingly)? Especially if we remember that it's the first place where PV "awakens" from his long slumber as DE breaks out from the Moonstone? One more thing is that "Light's of Truth" voice during ep. 9 and 10 of Crispia is kinda similar to voice of SM. So, probably, the theory that PV has to hear the real Light's of Truth voice yet is real and whole this time we've heard disguised voice of SM. And if it is, than may be the eyes, which is "averting the truth", belong to... Shadow Milk himself? How is it related? Well, may be SM and PV has much more in common, and the first one also failed his kingdom at some point. But then, he started to get sick of the many questions his people asked. He would get angrier and angrier, irritated and more irritated from day to day. But after he noticed his citizens were not asking any questions to him, he deceived(?) them by assuring that he is the same king they used to know. The citizens would come ask him questions again. But this time instead of giving them the truth, he would give them a lie and rumor he made up, mixed with a single bit of truth and send them away. Since the answers he gave weren't the ones they once knew as, they believed that their king was still their knowledgeable teacher they knew. The rumors spread and spread everywhere, naturally. The citizens were dumber than before. They helped him simply achieve what he was craving for. To see if his people would survive without his help. Maybe just to entertain himself after thousands of years spiraling the same cycle. He, himself, didn't realize and accept the fact that he went from a king to a jester. Eventually, his kingdom fell apart. If he was the last beast to be truly corrupted, this continued for thousands of years. Eventually when the witches noticed these, they punished them like seen in that one beast-yeast animatic. So yeah idk.. after he got out of the tree again, he knew pure vanilla would come look for him anyway. He knows everything after all, why wouldn't he know *that* ?? He knew pure vanilla would want to store every information he could find about shadow milk in his own kingdom. Maybe he tricks pure vanilla into seeing his fallen and destroyed kingdom in it's former glory? Towards the end of the first chapter, he realizes that the kingdom he was in was just a lie and the kingdom was nothing but mere ruins? Who knows, there's about two weeks left until the chapter finally arrives.
Tbh I doubt the silhouette next to SM’s costume is the awakened form, because why would devsis put a costume and an awakened form next to each other. And just taking a look at the hat and cloak it seems more sharp and loud. And comparing it to the other awakened forms this one just seems more bland.
It really is bland, but the comment above has me thinking... sharpness or pointyness in design is mostly used to convey evil/bad soo that's an interestingly one. Also in that one window or whatever Pure Vanilla is not in character and his Soul Jam has an EYE and he looks odd overall maybe Pure Vanilla will be Shadow Milk's puppet while he's trapped on his own mind and this is where the story happens... He doesnt want to be a teacher anymore. He wants to be something new. He wants to know if the cookies would know everything without his help. He wants to make fun of the others for it if they do not. He also doesnt wanna accept that he didnt change either, just experiencing... "New things".
Continuing the first theory.... Most definitely, in the end, pure vanilla realizes why he wants to avoid the truth. He realizes that every truth has a kind of help to cookie kind. Wellll, after learning the truth, slowly towards the end, he stars to seize every lie and rumor shadow milk says. Shadow milk goes a bit irritated over this. But hes interested that pure vanilla is starting to realize who he truly is within him. Eerrr in the end, pure vanilla awakens and truly accepts the truth. I dont think he will defeat shadow milk like how dc and gc did to the beasts but simply tell him the truth shadow milk himself was denying and simlly let him go.

After thinking about this, He can be a king. Shadow milk was a king that his citizens thought not only a king, but a teacher for them. Everytime a cookie asked something, he would give them the most purest truth and answer about it. He wouldn't even sigh if he heard the same questions asked over a millions of times, he simply would give them what he knew and tell them to not hesitate if they have another one for him. But then, he started to get sick of the many questions his people asked. He would get angrier and angrier, irritated and more irritated from day to day. But after he noticed his citizens were not asking any questions to him, he deceived(?) them by assuring that he is the same king they used to know. The citizens would come ask him questions again. But this time instead of giving them the truth, he would give them a lie and rumor he made up, mixed with a single bit of truth and send them away. Since the answers he gave weren't the ones they once knew as, they believed that their king was still their knowledgeable teacher they knew. The rumors spread and spread everywhere, naturally. The citizens were dumber than before. They helped him simply achieve what he was craving for. To see if his people would survive without his help. Maybe just to entertain himself after thousands of years spiraling the same cycle. He, himself, didn't realize and accept the fact that he went from a king to a jester. Eventually, his kingdom fell apart. If he was the last beast to be truly corrupted, this continued for thousands of years. Eventually when the witches noticed these, they punished them like seen in that one beast-yeast animatic.
So yeah idk.. after he got out of the tree again, he knew pure vanilla would come look for him anyway. He knows everything after all, why wouldn't he know *that* ?? He knew pure vanilla would want to store every information he could find about shadow milk in his own kingdom. Maybe he tricks pure vanilla into seeing his fallen and destroyed kingdom in it's former glory? Towards the end of the first chapter, he realizes that the kingdom he was in was just a lie and the kingdom was nothing but mere ruins? Who knows, there's about two weeks left until the chapter finally arrives.
Tbh I doubt the silhouette next to SM’s costume is the awakened form, because why would devsis put a costume and an awakened form next to each other. And just taking a look at the hat and cloak it seems more sharp and loud. And comparing it to the other awakened forms this one just seems more bland.
yea.. I agree but I believe that it could be smilk possessing PV cause it seems more of smilk's style with the sharp edges
It really is bland, but the comment above has me thinking... sharpness or pointyness in design is mostly used to convey evil/bad soo that's an interestingly one. Also in that one window or whatever Pure Vanilla is not in character and his Soul Jam has an EYE and he looks odd overall maybe Pure Vanilla will be Shadow Milk's puppet while he's trapped on his own mind and this is where the story happens... Just a theory

I do like to theorize that it is a before corruption costume but also like to think perhaps shadow milk will get a redemption ark at the end
I think will be his pre corruption appearence but will be like Burning spice six arms appearence, will only reveal his appearence Becker his fall.
