The videos John McCain made after his capture by the North Vietnamese tell the true story about John McCain. I was in the Army when one of his videos was shown on TV and the whole dayroom was in an uproar from guys yelling to "shoot the traitorous bastard", to why should I have to go fight in this illegal war when our own guys are telling us we are "war criminals".? John McCain destroyed the morale of hundreds if not thousands of military personnel in Vietnam and back home. The new outlets at that time "aired" his videos as a public service, but the CIA soon took down the videos and has the "records sealed". All this xame about directly as result of his father, the Chief Commanding Officer of the South Pacific at that time who had a lot of political strings he could pull. McCain was known by the VC and POWs as the "Songbird". McCain's cellmate and this phony torturer have been paid off to support the McCain lie. He was a traitor, he knows it and a lot of other people know it.
The way we went about fighting that war was just not it. We definitely could have found a better strategy or a solution to the war.
I notice in the video, the Torturer has a few "Song Birds" in cages, so, like is that a hidden message?

the biggest damage that happen to McCain is what happen to his brain. It seems he came out of it with a hardened heart. We will never know the truth, but He is not a good man in his heart, he is angry . He still has an ax to grind, PTS I suppose. Hitler was a war hero and a very brave soldier and look what he did to people. His heart turned cold. Maybe that same thing happen to McCain. We react to emotional and physical pain differently, so he did not come out of the Vietnam war a nice guy. He has done underhanded things to people in this country.

Say what you want about John McCain...and I no longer respect his political views...but he's a man who had a chance to leave Vietnam years earlier because of his fathers position in the Navy(Admiral I believe). They had worked out a release for him, but he would not leave without his fellow soldiers.
So...again, say what you will of the man, but that is true heroism. Anyone can be a hero for a minute or a short period of time(not everyone will be) but for someone to say, "no, I'm staying in this hellhole and I'm not leaving early just because my Father is who he is....I'm staying with my fellow soldiers," you have to respect that.

I work for the veterans. Many old timers there. POW were tortured and they didn't give a damn who you were, Back then and especially at the time they showed no favoritism nor remorse. They were ruthless. Those saying he wasn't tortured you're a complete idiot. And to say he wasn't "as tortured", that's just plain stupid. Tortured is tortured no matter how many bones they broke, how far they hung him from the wrist, how many less blows he got from a iron pipe, or how much more slop he got as a meal compared to other prisoners. Just what is "less tortured" compared too and to who? You're comparing regular cigarettes to light cigarettes, they're both equally as bad.
How is anything more than before and after pictures needed to prove torture did occur on a regular and extreme basis?
That voice over guy isn't telling the truth. McCain's broken arms and shoulders were caused by his own failure to eject properly. He admits as much in his book " Faith of my Fathers ". He was full of broken bones on arrival and went to the best hospital the Vietnamese could manage, which wasn't very good but there was a war on. They knew who he was and wanted him in the best health because he was their #1 bargaining chip at the time.
The very fact of him divorcing his wife, when she most needed him (just as he has done to vets, MIA's and POW's, etc.) after his return to the US because she was no longer "beautiful" due to her accident and resulting 40+ reconstructive surgeries, leaving her with (among other issues) one leg shorter than the other...., "Should be"... in a nutshell..... VERY "Telling" of his overall character!!..... and he has the audacity to call those who oppose him.. "low life, scum"! Enough Said, for those who are wise and discerning.
