    I am a Yankees fan, but how can you not like and respect J.D. Martinez? He is a true professional and carries himself very well! Extremely consistent player and what not?! I have to admit that the Red Sox just have a one of a kind team. They deserve all kinds of credit!

    JD has not only been one of the best free agent additions in Red Sox history, but he has been the consummate professional and hardest working player on that team as well. Can't wait to see what he does in the postseason and I hope he leads the Sox to a world series title!

    I love how JD destroys the exact thing A-ROD teaches, but didnt do. A-ROD teaches to hack down on the ball the JD said he used to do.
    But A-ROD actually did what JD does now.

      JackGeezy so in 2013 when he was with houston when he was doing “point a to point b” hitting is he saying his bat wasn’t in the zone long enough because he also talked about having a smaller margin for error and not getting as many hits and not having much success?? whereas when he went to detroit and was with miggy he studied and noticed how miggy gets into the zone longer and has a larger room or larger margin for error regardless of being fooled on pitches and getting more hits?

      Jeff Araujo honestly lol! I didnt get the difference from swing point A to B vs meeting A at the desired plane 😩

    • @RicardoKugo
      @RicardoKugo 6 років тому +1

      He meant that: "point A is where the bat starts B is the ball. 2013: straight line from A to B and hit it down. 2014+: get on the same height as the ball and swing horizontal."

    • @RicardoKugo
      @RicardoKugo 6 років тому +3

      The straight line from A to B crosses the plate in a small section because you cross it. The horizontal swing crosses the height of the ball for the enitre time so you have a larger margain for error. A little to early for A to B results in a miss. The horizontal version results in a ball to left or a foul ball.

    • @NateReelz
      @NateReelz 6 років тому

      bakugo so basically instead of going the launch angle approach (swinging the bat at an angle) he’s about immediately locating the path the ball is coming through and dropping his back shoulder to get the “drive ball” swing?

    • @Pr0gamingelite
      @Pr0gamingelite 6 років тому

    • @gabemedina2275
      @gabemedina2275 5 років тому +1

      Ann Nonymous JD doesn’t use PEDs. He’s a student of the game, always teaching himself more about what he can do to improve his hitting. He records himself taking BP to see what he can improve in his swing. He’s also adapted his unique swing to raise the ball and get more power out of his swing. Just because someone looks huge and is a power hitter doesn’t mean they’re on PEDs. Look at Mookie, one of the best power hitters in the game this year but is anyone accusing him of taking PEDs? No. It’s really sad you would accuse JD of taking PEDs. He’s an incredible person and player who would never take PEDs.
