New to your channel. It is such a coincidence that while clearing some property, I just found buckeyes that I didn't know about. I wanted to plant them and then here you are. As I watched, I wished for an update with a teenage Rachel planting Buckeye trees. I'm sure your blessings were much appreciated.
SO cool to see Rachel helping daddy! 20 years from now, you may be able to take the girl out of the farm, but its experiences like this for a young child that will never take the farm out of the girl!
If I may. What did you do to prepare the buckeye seeds for planting. I know some seeds have to winter over do buckeye have to or just throw them in dirt?
This is really late but I got mine to sprout by placing them in dirt with lots of water, also placing 3 toothpicks in the seed and placing them in water.
120 days in the fridge in a bucket of sand worked for me...when they start to crack and the root starts poking out place it in dirt and keep lightly watered until spring
Knock off the loud music, there are people with hearing problems, when the music comes on and you are not prepared for it, it can HURT! Other than that I liked the instruction on planting

Why would you plant a buckeye tree 🌳 you can’t eat them!
I was wondering that too, because they are poisonous to everything but squirrels
