Wow!! Can you imagine a $2.00 ticket to see the”King of Rock and Roll.” What a neat piece of history. Another piece of Elvis history well done. Cool piece of school history, almost forgotten to time. Thanks for keeping the memory alive. So COOL.

Jordan - What an ultimate treat. The arena is a great facility and I love the history there. I love your hometown. I can't imagine having that town history with Elvis. I love your lining up the modern facility with the old shots. Thank you so much for sharing this. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵

1956. Elvis played the Auditorium on May 23,1956 in Sioux City, Iowa. My hometown. I was too little to go tothat show, but I did see him live in Omaha, Nebraska in the 70’s. Great showman💚💚💚💚💚

Little known Elvis history in Ohio, back when concerts were not being recorded. Looks like it is still small town Americana. Thanks for telling the story of when Elvis came to town. Of course, back in 1956, Elvis was very much a singer for the teenage set. Jah always looks happy to be shown on video.

Great history. That looks like a good town to grow up in with the traffic circle in the middle and a cool downtown. You passed some great looking old houses too.

I participated in one of those charity basketball type games. Our teaching staff played Detroit Lion players. It was not really competitive but a fun way for players to keep active, promote the team and help, in our case, the athletic department. This video was a nice walk back in history. Thanks.

WOW, I really enjoyed this Elvis 🎤 segment in TROY, Ohio. Great 👍 fun, interesting but “K’s 🍔 Hamburgers” really made me want to visit your hometown 🏡. I adore the old-fashioned establishments. There’s a very cute place in Shawnee, Oklahoma called “Hamburger King,” Famous for Hamburgers since 1927. It doesn’t get much more vintage than that! ❤️ Please stop by and try it sometime in 2022! Jordan, in the early 70 or 71 off season Reds player Bobby Tolan. Tore his Achilles tendon in one of those basketball games. Also in the early 80s on TBS Georgia championship wrestling came to Hobart at least once a month and sometimes twice. Because I used to go everytime to the Huntington wv and Troy was on the same tour. 99% sure that Andre would have wrestled there. Great video.

Video is here, but encountered multiple playback errors trying to view it! Maybe because it's a rainy day here? I will try again. FYI: The Dick Dale you saw listed among appearances at Hobart Arena ... was listed in Myron Floren's Show - likely was the Lawrence Welk Show singer by that name, a different Dick Dale than you had in mind. Great vlog! Also just enjoyed your Amsterdam Canal boat vlog from 2017!
