IN THIS VLOG 🌸
In today's video I hang out with Sophie ( / peachymilktea ) and we went to the Sailor Moon Restaurant in Azabu Juuban! This is a permanent restaurant and you have to reserve online to get a spot. I recommend coming on a week day and going to the 4pm session as it was very empty when we went. The shows are ONLY for dinner time. I don't recommend going to the lunch time sessions, there is no show and the food kinda sucks lol. It is expensive but I honestly thought the show was amazing so it was worth the price. Plus, you get to keep the plate when you order food!

It's crazy how empty it is in there. I would kill to go into that cafe
When I went, the restaurant was at about 30% of capacity.
They have up to 4 sessions a day. 1 lunch (no show) and 3 dinner.

Petite Monica they have sessions, you need to be reserved in order to get in the cafe so they can prevent crowded

That's exactly how felt the same when I was watching some of the other peoples videos. But she is kinda cute even the other actors. My most favorite character is Sailor Jupiter because she is so strong

Thay would be me if I ever I get to go. I just missed the SM pop-up when I went in the spring of 2017, but got to catch the Cardcaptor at the end of last year on the way back from a family reunion.

@@kimdaovlog Yay! Awesome! I'm totally looking forward to them! I'm actually really looking forward to that Gachapon one you hinted at a few videos ago lol. I thought about it and to be more specific...if it helps you. I guess tips and tricks when traveling in Japan? Like, I think it might have even been one of your videos...I didn't know ALL taxis in Japan had automatic doors. I thought only the ones in major areas like Tokyo did. That saved some embarrassment for me in the future. So little things like that. Or when people bow...do you bow back, how much do you bow back? Like at a hotel, I've seen the check in people bow to you, do you just incline your head slightly or? What's acceptable and what comes off as rude? Those little tiny things that are oh so important but I don't see people really talk much about.

Hi Kim, I would love more travel videos like your top 100 things to do in Japan/Tokyo. Also how to travel in Tokyo (tips and tricks), and foodie videos. Just some ideas but really whatever you’d like to do, just interesting being taken around by you.

I wonder why it's so empty- I went just a few nights ago (Monday night) and it was completely packed! Excellent show... I cried XD It was the last day of my trip so I was emotional ok ahahah

Yeah I was shocked because in the videos I've seen, it was completely full! We took the 4pm slot on a weekday so maybe thats why?
I went to the Shining Moon Restaurant last month. Also got an S seat.
There was a group of Americans in the same session. 2 of whom clearly had no idea what Sailor Moon was, and the 3rd who was explaining it to them, didn't know that Viz had picked up the license and had redubbed it.
I've been waiting for this video! I'm planning to go to this Sailor Moon cafe next year. It's a big help!

I went there last year. It was the bomb!!! Every sailor moon fan has to go there! Food and drinks are amazing. The show too. They let you take plates home. And souvenir shop is great! Can’t wait to go back. They should add more characters to the choreo like the outer senshi and star lights

I just got word The Shining Moon Restaurant Tokyo, will be closed indefinitely for now! I never got chance to go sad about that and so want to go and experience such a lovely restaurant! I bet there are thousands of fan out there who are in the same place as me too! I feel strongly we all Moonie Fans should give them our full love and Support the Cast and Staff to prove we want them to stay open once its safe to do so i think we should share this message i hope you dont mind Let Shining Moon feel our hearts felt across the world I think its worth a try!
