Whether Williams is tired or not, as commentator Jimmy White suggested yesterday, Judd is winning on the brillian quality of his potting, safety and positional play.
I'm not so sure. For me, the only difference from the first session to the second session is that Mark's performance is massively improved, whereas Judd's performing about the same - and the second session was drawn 4-4. The third session will tell us which of us is right, should be a great one.

The best ever crucible clearance was Ronnie's to get a re spotted black to get a 10 -6 lead against Higgins
Trump is playing great match play but the fact that since this frame williams has won 7 out of the last 9 shows when these guys get going there unreal.What I don't really understand is Davis and Hendry were well past it by 4a0 but 3 out of 4 semi finalist are only a few years away from 50 and Judd Trump at 32/33 is the only one in there prime so you'd think he'd be the favourite but he could still end up losing this match yet.Those 3 guys are unreal.
for the past recent years I notice Judd aiming a cueball with side spin,but cueing straight which is very confusing. notice at minute 1:23

And one more thing I noticed it back in 2014 as I just started playing snooker, and alway aimed with side spin and looked for a player with similar aiming and there was Judd. You can go back and verify this by watching old footage of him playing
He's on fire... I also want to say that Mark is one of the best players to ever play this game. We can praise Judd without putting down Mark. If the clearance is amazing, it's in the context of the opposition.
In short, no. The Hurricane’s 69 vs Jimmy White… Ronnie’s 92 vs Ali… This was a good clearance, but doesn’t hold a candle to those

Its not the greatest clearance when he saves his bad positioning (eg the last red to green or moving the red away from the cushion) by really good shots.
Its shows how great he is but he wasnt precise enough for this to be one of the greatest clearances (in my opinion)

@@corey1845 You're absolutely correct. We've seen stunning clearances in the past from most, if not all top players. But this clearance wasn't of 'em.

I've seen loads of amazing clearances at the Crucible... This was a good clearance, but your acting like it's some mind-blowing and unbeatably incredible one. It's not. He wasn't even under much pressure, he was 6 frames in the lead here.

Not agree, very far from one of the best clearances. 3 white replacements missed twice cannon on the last red missed and have to fight on every shot with his white control. He pots all balls, yes, but for me, the best clearances are the ones completely controlled from beginning to end, for example John Higgins Cazoo Championship last year when he destroyed everyone.
