Would extending the front black wind guard all the way down to roof help block wind drag and help gas mileage??

I think it can. I may do something like that if I try to make this into a roof tent pop up.

Definitely a medium duty budget rack. I haven't loaded it up with stuff yet. Wind noise seems good.
