try also flexing backward when it doesnt come off right away, mostly parts which dont pop off are due to their flexibility, to get it to pop off easier make your support bases thicker!
Haha unfor it wasn't until after I finished editing the video I realized I forgot to try flexing the opposite way. But luckily I get many days of flexing ahead of me!!!
@Jesters Did you have to lower your Z-Stop metal bar/tab for it to trigger properly before the new plate crashes in to your LCD? I've read a number of Reddit threads that indicate that has to be done first, otherwise damages occur.... Or was your z-stop high enough already that it manages to home before it hits your screen?
I actually forgot about the z hop height when I installed it. Luckily for me I didn't need to adjust it. I guess a waya person could find out is to remove the tray. Get the build plate to go home, and measure the distance between the screen and the build plate. Then the thickness of the magnet and the flex plate. Should give you an idea if you will have enough space as is. Or if you will need to make the adjustments needed.
Thinking back to the video I don't think I mentioned your name or models for the print removal. But that reminds me I should add it to the description!! I am definitely enjoying the easier print removals! Keep being absolutely awesome Mia!!
For real though... that changes the game for a lot of those printers!! So essentially you never have to re level it again am I right in the assumption ?
From what I understand most other units need a spacer 3d printed to offset the extra space. Mine didn't need to have a spacer printed. Guess I just got lucky. Should be able to find them on thingiverse. Best of luck to you.
First of all I will note that my lcd screen has died. (but I am fairly certain Its unrelated. Can't see how it would be connected, just wanted to point out) but in all honesty I absolutely love the wham Bam months later. It's honestly the best purchase I have made for the printer! Removing prints is still incredible. I have seen some reports of others having their metal plate shift during prints (not sure if they were wham Bam brand or not) but I have not had any similar issues. My flex plate sticks amazingly to the magnetic plate. I am incredibly happy with it!
Make sure the bed is leveled, that you have a even first layer. Maybe upgrade to a mirror. My printers glass bed plate was not level or even. So temporarily had to use tape underneath the glass and the build plate to compensate. Made the switch to a mirror cause they need to be perfectly flat for a good reflection. I also use elmers glue stick. I hear some people using hair spray with good luck. Hopefully this helps a bit.
Hey soooooo totally my bad. I definitely didn't look at what video this comment was on. I definitely had fdm in my mind. So disregard all of that last comment. For a resin printer also make sure the bed is level. Then try increasing bottom layer exposure time.
Lmao dude too funny! I ordered mine a couple of days ago. I'm so sick of not being able to pull a print off without wrecking it or my bed. I've even started resorting to hammers. I got the double as well :D I started my channel last week and you've inspired me to make a video of my 'Wham Bam' experience as well lol... but sorry it won't be as funny as yours :/
@@Jesters3DTabletopGaming Thanks man! And thanks so much for subscribing :) Oh and by the way there are some killer ninja star stl's on 'my mini factory' ;)

Updated description!
Ordered one for each of my machines. Excited to just pop the miniatures off.
Eeeeee super excited for you!

theoretically yes!!!
This looks pretty great. Highly tempted to snag one for my Elegoo Mars
I'm loving it. I really disliked using the scraper, or razor blade to remove prints.
Great video, love all the sound effects.
Haha I do enjoy sound effects! Half the time I dont even realize I do them. As always thanks for watching. And have a glorious day!

After using for a few months, have you seen any issue using the flex plate on your SLA printers?

Did u need to print a new piece for the the home level adapter or did you just install the wambam?
Nope didn't need to, just installed it. But I have heard of other photon S's needing to.. Soooo not sure what to tell you there.
okay the flexing and flopping made me subscribe.
Woop woop thanks for the sub. Might have to flex and flop more often
any tip when you model doesnt stick on the plate ?
