- Customer was complaining of a coolant leak on this #vauxhall mokka and yes it's a very common fault with these thermostat housing leaking.
ordered up a @bgautomotive component and quickly replaced the faulty unit.
also replaced the coolant as I didn't know how long they had been topping up with water.
the vehicle has no more leaks and coolant is perfect for all season protection.

They usually leak at the thermostat housing or the expantion tank.

I picked up a Mokka from a dealer last night. When driving home, the air con wouldn’t heat, the windscreen steamed up completely and the temperature gauge shot up to maximum. Are these potentially signs of issue you’re fixing here? The garage are due to sort today👍
Possibly or you may of had a failed radiator
At 28 seconds in where you say be careful as little water pipe will brake, mine popped off and clip/connector part broke. What is the pipe/connector/clip called I need to replace please?
I'm not sure what it is called sorry, if you phone vauxhall they should give you a diagram of all the coolant hoses pipes and clips ect.. there may be a diagram on Google. That's as much as I can help you on this sorry 🤙

@@freedomisnotfree30 if you go genuine..a lot!...pattern parts much cheaper,but as good?..who knows.
@@freedomisnotfree30 I think it was just under 100. But there will be a reason why this keeps happening.
Was this a water pump replacement?
