Today I will be sharing how I remove tarnish on my Hermes palladium hardware and how I polish it. This will be an interesting video for those of you who love hands- on tutorials, and do watch on to find out if I succeeded this time!

Teeheee! It is satisfying to see it all brand new and shiny again! Moss and tarnish just seem to happen more in humid climate like Singapore, it is frustrating! Hope this video helped u out!

Oh yes dear it didnt look that bad cos the stickers were still on, but what bugged me was that the tarnish would get worse and worse if i left the stickers on. Anyway happy to see the tarnish and moss all gone! And it feels more brand new to me now. Thanks for coming by darling!

Hi dear!! Appreciate your compliments. I am not sure about ghw or rghw, i will need to find a piece to trash first in case it fails. But ghw is gold plated and not completely gold so it's abit risky i must say.

Hi Lokie, this is super helpful! I always remove the stickers as soon as I purchase the bag, because I love the shine from the hardware, as a result, some hardware gets tarnished, it would be great to get rid of the tarnish with the polishing cream👍👍👍
Yea thats true. My greatest fear is when the adhesive strips the palladium plating off with it,and sometimea it happens when left on for prolonged periods. 🤗🥲🤭
This was so very informative! I have quite a few of the Hermès Clic Clac and Clic H bracelets ; not to mention the belts. I’ll definitely remove all stickers today. Your demonstration really helped. I appreciate it! I was always worried about tarnish issues ( even though I don’t have an issue at the moment).

Has your got any tarnish on them yet dear? Because singapore is humid so this is common where i am. But i guess good to weigh up between getting faimt scratches vs moisture build up. TFW dear!

Interesting product your using - I have to admit I don‘t know the brand, eventhough I‘m from Germany 😁 ... I allways keep the protection stickers on, as long as possible 😅 (but I have heard a few times aswell, that it‘s not too good for the hardwear to keep them on 🙈 but to me it feels like it protects from scratches)
Hi mary, i'm not sure if the stickers are meant to be kept on for long. But in Asia, everything is rather humid, so having tarnish trapped under that air bubble pocket is common. But i have seen cases where the adhesive takes off the palladium coating or gold coating of the hardware.... so that is quite scary too.. TFS dear!

Hi jaci! I'm not sure if the pochette metis is palladium, but it seems like gold plated? You may like to skip using Autosol for that, or bring it for re-plating.

Hihi friend! Actually this product would work on palladium coated hardware. I believe for Hermes, it is also palladium coated. I would recommend trying a small amount of this product on a non conspicuous area like the feet or any internal hardware first like what i did for mine. All the best!
Can I use that to clean/polish my ST dupont palladium lighter? Will it nefatively effect the black lacquer parts?
Hihi adam, i am not sure about the ST dupont palladium lighter or if the black laquer will be affected. It works on gold/ palladium plated that i have tried. Perhaps if there is a non conspicuous part of the palladium, you could try a small amount of it first?
Any tips for LV gold hardware that is looking brassy? Can the same treatment be applied?

I think the sticker over the hardware has trapped the humidity in that space and caused it to tarnish. I would prefer not having that sticker and also to wipe it with a soft cloth after use. No need for regular polishing with this cream. Hope that helps!

Should we keep on the cupboard try to avoid the humidity or put in the bag of hermes and put in the box.

For me, i keep my bag in hermes dustbag and in a cupboard with dehumidifier. I remove the stickers too. Hope that helps. My boxes are all stored separately. But some of them are starting to show mould on the boxes

Isn’t weird how dirty it gets. Especially since I wash my hand a lot. I don’t have a Hermes bag, but it is still interesting. Looks beautiful
Thank u!! It is unusual since the stickers have been left on since it was purchased from the store. The most likely explanation is tarnish/oxidation from the moisture trapped within that bubble... 🤗😅🤣😬 TFW love!

Hi dear, i have not tried. But i know the gold is also plated. If anything and you want to test, then maybe do a spot test on the back metal slab of the turnlock... or the feet...
