How To Install 4 x4 Truck Side Steps, Nerf Bars... or whatever you want to call them.
How to install Nerf Steps. Or sometimes called, running boards or nerf bars, truck side steps, . In this video we are using step bars from N-Fab. We are not affiliated nor endorsed by N-Fab. But the steps are nice. You'll need a drill, drill bits, Permanent Marker, C Clamps, tape measure, SawzAll and some spray paint. - Авто та транспорт
Great video
Chingon.......(mexican) Big fan of you
that is a terrible way of mounting side steps, they should be solidly mounted to the chassis rail. these will cause damage over time.
What size bars are those you used? 2 1/2 or the 3" ?
Is there hydraulic for that too I want to put one for my gmc 2003
those steps are meant for rock rail rock sliding protection as well as being a step correct?
Not a fan.... those will rip right of off .... and yes we see the rust
Always bolt or weld to chasis
I have the exact same running boards to go on a 08 Ram
Good tips but wish it was a longer video in depth
Sorry! It was a fairly quick shoot day. Ask us any questions. Happy to help.
Me podría decir las medidas y espesor
Hello. I'm just getting ready to put a set on my Dodge Ram. How are these steps holding up? How much flex to they have. Thanks.
jeff tunnell They’re still fully in tact and in great shape. Zero flex for me... however, I’m not a big guy at 145lbs so I’m not putting that much weight on them. But we’ve been climbing on them to wash the roof and getting in n out and they’ve held up. Definitely not rock sliders though. Too thin and would most likely crush the F outta the pinch welds. Thanks for watching!
Hello I just bought those steps used for an 04 Dodge Ram 2500 and I was wondering what hardware i will need for it. like size of bolts nuts and whatever else I will need. Thanks!!!
supermicroracer2 did you ever figure that out? I am in that exactly situation... thanks
100% 😎👊🏾
you might wanna rethink the way you installed this. Bolts going through rusted panels.. hope you have personal injury protection. im sure those are meant to go thru the frame.
Installed properly according to nFab manufacturer specifications. The pressure gets distributed away from the pinch weld bolts by the flange that pushes against the back side of the rocker panels. The rust... well, would have been nice to get rid of that, but that's down the road in the resto. Thanks for watching! Have a better day!
WTF IS GOING ON HEAR HAHAHAHAHAH GOOD WORK MATE !!
No mames ,se debe de atornillar al chasis y no a la carrocería 🤔
where did you buy them at
rob williams jegs.com... they have a great price match.
Damn! I'm a fool idiot.
sub urban

rust is lighter than carbon fibre
I thought suburban was Chevy??? And Yukon was gmc
Back in the day, both chevy and gmc were suburbans....they changed it so gmc had a different name.
Anyone know how to hide or eliminate that ugly GM pinch weld?
look at this, it might clean up the look of that pinch weld.

We like both ideas. We'll try both and see what we like then repost. Keep wheelin gents!
A boy with vocal fry, hard to watch.
If you're gonna get welded tubes like that, why don't you just get REAL rock sliders and not some shit nerf bars that mount to the body?
Why? They are for stepping on and for looks, not for sliding...
Anyone put this on their hummer h3?
I just installed em on my hummer and they look great, had to use a rubber mallet and hammer it into place. One other thing to note is your brake lines on the driver side, youll need to move the hose a tad to have it fit. Overall they look great
Wow, this was kind of sad.
bars cost more than your TRuck does...FAIL!
Lol so many comments moaning about vocal fry. 🙄 who tf cares
Why are people so infatuated with n fab..???
As far as I'm concerned...this is junk...
Tom Maryott What do you prefer?
@@ChurchieShed .....a tubing bender and a mig welder...
Tom Maryott man you are tough. You really showed us.
@@ChurchieShed I never said "I was tough""
You asked my opinion..I gave it
Apparently you didn't like my answer. So now you you have resorted to name calling.....
That product...for the price point and function is bolt on junk.
Would you like a tissue??
This interaction was painful to read, even all these years later 😂
When did vocal fry become cool. Otherwise good vid ruined.
jesus hope this is a fucking joke ...
That shit is all wrong. Good luck. Rust out bad. Bolt to the frame
