This is just terrible drivers. The speed limit is posted. Let me see, the snowflakes want a sign that says please “ Please do not go faster the the speed limit” . I cannot believe someone feeble minded person said there is not much effort to warn drivers to stay within the speed limit.
This exit has been here since what, the 1970s? Interesting how only now in 2022 it's suddenly becoming a problem. Seattle drivers are just terrible and get worse with every passing year. I say we let them crash if they aren't going to pay attention to signs, rather than try to idiot proof this train wreck of a city.
We call it “the drunk filter”. The fifth Avenue Theater is two blocks away and that exit gets most of the drunks to crash before they crash into us doing a load out at 1am.
Im no engineer but a couple speed bumps way before that turn will prevent drivers from reaching crazy speed...also that tunnel looks super dark...some lighting maybe🤷🏾♂️
Idiots. How do you not know how to drive without hitting things. I’ve taken that exit for years and I manage just fine. It’s amazing what following the traffic laws can do to prevent accidents!
cities across America all have their "dead man's curve".......and none know the answer, except me.......what needs to be done is, ...you put a police car with its flashing lights on (or something that looks like a police car) close by.....nothing slows drivers down faster than that.
At highway speeds, a car will drive 51 yards before the driver can react to a sign. (1.75 seconds at 60mph). It will travel another 26 yards to slow to 20mph. Total distance travelled to get to a safe speed = 77 yards. The additional distraction of the curve sign could add another 50 yards to the distance. Add frequent rain. All of this in an area drawing out-of-towners to a hotel. The exit should be eliminated to force travelers to take a safer path with greater visibility and a longer offramp to adjust speed.
There should be special labour camps for these kind of drivers to be kept out of traffic. First time 10 years, 2nd time 20 years and 3rd time for life.
The only problem here is people driving way too fast. It's true of most "dangerous" roads. Obviously most of the drivers here do not wipe out, so the road isn't the issue. Just my opinion,

Why is it so complicated to just add speed bumps prior to the right turn before leaving the tunnel??
It's not rocket science.
All you gotta do is take it slow, it’s an exit. You’re supposed to slow down at an exit.
This is just terrible drivers. The speed limit is posted. Let me see, the snowflakes want a sign that says please “ Please do not go faster the the speed limit” . I cannot believe someone feeble minded person said there is not much effort to warn drivers to stay within the speed limit.
Should name his channel with these videos “Idiot driver’s doing stupid stuff with their cars” something like that.
There is video after video after video of accidents from this tunnel corner.
Wow. Take the license of these dangerous drivers. Wow. Police should sit and write tickets tickets tickets....yep...n
Good way to stop speeding cars. Just make sure to move the pedestrian crossing further away and add protection to the sidewalk.
We have roads like this without any issues
Hey Seattle what do the black lines on those signs mean?
Need a flashing light sign saying the speed limit. That sign is barely visible especially with the graffiti. Also a sign saying traffic lights ahead
Speeding
Carelessness &
Not reading road signs
"What's Reddit?"
Stop playing dumb, that fedora tells me you know EXACTLY what Reddit is.
News guy risking his life standing there.
People ought to eliminate driving if they don’t know you must slow down when exiting the freeway into a downtown corridor.
@@spinflux yeah this comment highlights how terrible drivers are now and can't cope with the simplest of tasks 😩
That was my first thought; why does this exit exist ?
Who takes 1.75 seconds to react to a sign lol
Like that low underpass that goes under the train tracks.
Is this in Asia ??
It make Me wonder what these Drivers tell Their Insurance companies after they crash there.
Please tell me he has a UA-cam channel!
All of these shown examples wouldn’t happen if the drivers weren’t speeding
How about a driving school straight at 0:52.
It's good for the economy. Healthcare spending, road infrastructure rebuild, body shop auto repair, car replacement. What's not to love?
There should be special labour camps for these kind of drivers to be kept out of traffic. First time 10 years, 2nd time 20 years and 3rd time for life.
OMGosh! After a video like this some heads need to roll. This IS FIXABLE. Come on...
It’s actually not because you can’t fix stupid. 😂
But yeah. It is.
Looks like the problem is sorting itself out. No need to add anything to the road.
The only problem here is people driving way too fast. It's true of most "dangerous" roads. Obviously most of the drivers here do not wipe out, so the road isn't the issue. Just my opinion,
Seeing him wear that trilby indicates he definitely knows what Reddit is now.
The exit ramp is too short.
Oohhh, it's Seattle!!! This all makes sense now!
