Hold the fuck up -- I first heard about this game from _The Onion!_ It was part of an article called "Japanese Punk Girl Delights Entire Dorm Room Floor" from 2001 and it described this exact same game. For the longest time I thought it was made up!

To Arin's credit, there was no tutorial, you have to read the instruction book. Truly a classic.
That is something that should be a standard with all video games: An instruction book as part of the disc, or at least a tutorial.

Maybe it’s a directed TO Mr. Domino, demanding that he not stop. That would explain why there’s sometimes a comma; it’s supposed to be, “Don’t Stop, Mr Domino.”
The title "No One Can Stop Mr Domino" makes sense, but it's ambiguously phrased. It isn't "No one is able to stop Mr Domino", but rather "No one must stop Mr Domino".

If it were addressing Mr. Domino directly it might use the vocative particle よyo, though that could sound a bit old-fashioned. (It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine when people misquote Dio's "Toki yo tomare!" as "Toki wo".)

I thought I should clarify my post. The reason that the 256th Screen is actually Screen 0 is because Screen 255 in binary is 11111111, the largest 8-bit number possible. When you reach the end of Screen 255 the binary digits roll over becoming 00000000.

The reset is there so you can get more points it's an opportunity to reset the board and do it again. But in Aaron's case it's a torture device brought on by his own hubris.

The problem is: Resetting the board doesn't restore your stamina. When you run out of stamina your character reverts to being just a domino and you fail the level.

I feel like not being able to turn around and fix anything makes Mr. Domino not stopping the problem. He charges blindly forward and you have to try guide him since you can't stop him.
I enjoyed watching Arin constantly losing from running out of stamina, and Dan looking up the wiki but stopping his investigation literally the sentence before it explains that exact mechanic.

Oh my god, seeing this thumbnail absolutely overjoyed me, one of the earliest memories I have is watching my dad play this game and how hard it was!
