Great video, your knowledge of UC is excellent. My only suggestion is to learn proper gain staging. Telling people that all their faders should be set to unity is incorrect, in fact the best way to set your gain is with the fader all the way down and visually setting your gain to between -20 and -12 , then adjust your faders for a great mix. Gain is not to be used as a volume control. Im not sure who is going around to a lot of churches and teaching this way of mixing but its not an acceptable practice for live music..
Hey, so i have a question. I tried turning on the FX and i seem to be hearing no FX at all. Even when i have them turned all the way up, i get no FX (what im looking for mainly is reverb). Is there anything i can do at all?
Adjust your Fx return levels in the mix (main for FOH, or any monitor mixes) where you wanna hear FX. Also make sure your FX bus master is not at -inf (i recommend setting it at unity).
Downloaded the app and it does not look like this and its missing buttons in DEMO Mode. I'm trying to get to know the app before installing the 32R at my church this Sat.
The demo mode opens one specific model of mixer, which is not the mixer he used in this video (which looks like a 32R). The only way for you to see the exact same thing is to own the same mixer model, and to connect to the mixer with the app.
I’m using UC Remote but other than move the faders it doesn’t let me select an individual channel to make adjustments in the fat channel. Any thoughts?

Did you get permission for your device by way of the mixer in order to make adjustments in concert with the mixer? Just a thought…
Are you using UC or QMix UC ? QMix Uc is only meant for adjusting levels for mixes.
