Yooo Cities! Love you Reports man. I am pretty new to Warhammer but I am starting a CoS Warband and maybe someday an Army so I am hyped to see you play that! But definetly needs more Duardin :D Keep it up
Another great Battle Report good sir. Been rewatching your others lol. Was excited to see this notification. Can't wait until the next one lol Keep up the great work brother.
A big fan of battle reports too! I have been intrigued by COS. The Landskneckts style are a real draw, and just got all 4 Warcry 2.0 books. Need to start building some.
The Unmade seem to rely quite heavily on the Blissful One, so when they went down fairly early on that seemed like a bad omen. One thing that struck me during this battle report was how many abilities ended up not being used, in particular in the first turn. Do you generally use wild dice to try and maximise the number of doubles/triples/quads available in a turn or do you tend to have a plan for what you want to do with them first? It feels like in the first turn both sides in retrospect would have been better served saving their wild dice for use later, or possibly using doubles to rush to treasures that were just out of reach.
Generally I save the wild die. I thought with a decent number of fighters on the board at the start, there would be chances to use them. Was wrong about that. Also, a lot of abilities for both of the warbands didn't seem to work in a lot of situations. A lot of the match was just moving to go pick up some treasure and I found I was not using the ability dice that much.
Love "No-Face Ned"! Brilliant sculpt. Unmade are my only warband thus far, and In loving the crazy shenanigans of the Blissful One. Also noticed you called the Blissful One a "she". I always thought that she is a her, but my friends reckoned they couldn't tell. Anywhere that categorically states it? Not enough female warband leaders anyway, so I'll stick with my gut on this one!
Nice battle report as always Donny! You should really start not spending your wild dice in the first round though, as you never even use the ability dice you have 😂
Ahh good question. I did two attacks for the roll (2 for each attack). Rolled 4 dice. Sometimes to speed things up, I will roll both attacks at once if I'm 99% sure that it won't effect the game.
Perhaps I missed it but it seems like the Unmade leader (Blissful One I think?) could have used the quad in the round before they died. With the free move and attack plus two more attacks they had a decent chance of killing both of the CoS fighters nearby. Instead, 1 attack only damaged one of them and they were wiped out quickly afterward. That one decision could have turned the game. I love so much of what Warcry does, but the incredible imbalance between chaos and AoS warbands (and massive imbalance between the first AoS and later AoS) makes me lose all interest. It seems you either have to use only the Chaos warbands or only the AoS warbands. Really bad balancing by GW. How can you possibly release those big Ogor Mawtribes units that can do 30+ damage in an activation FROM RANGE while having 35+ health in the same game with warbands like the Iron Golems and Untamed Beasts? It really feels like models are thrown into the game with little to no regard for any balance whatsoever.
I think the Blissful one could have done something there. I think you may have forgotten about a Quad when she charged in? a Rampage could have made all the difference
I honestly think the unmade could have had this with relative ease, Donny just decided to not play them well^^ E.g. they had a quad in the second round, blissful one could have probably taken down both black guard there, and not be killed herself. Only one of the many things I saw that could have been done differently.
I cannot stress enough how badly I wish everyone did battle reports like you. Always so fun to watch.
i love the way you do battle report. Easy to understand. Must take a long time to do that
and the way you zoom in is good too. this really make me want to get my hand to paint some minis and play
Yeah, it can take a minute to film and edit. Pretty much why I can't produce them at a standard rate. Glad you like them!
Brilliant battle report! Your terrain and miniatures look awesome too; I especially like the Anvil Guard. 👊
Please make more I love this content

Always love to see the unique Warcry warbands in action.
Awesome report and really good loking minis.
Awesome report as always. Fills the void slightly where I'm not currently able to play against friends :)
Great format, humour and paintjobs! One of your Unmade ones reminds me Tarman from The Return of the Living Dead ;)
Thanks a bunch! Glad you enjoy the content and the format of the bat reps!
Awsome as always! Was realy hyped, that you got a new Warcry Battlereport out. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Love to see Cities of Sigmar in action.

Thanks Harold! More to come in the future.

Nice! I absolutely love the Grand Alliance supplements, particularly the Sentinels of Order for the Cities of Sigmar.
Fantastic production value! Love it.
Amazing battle rep that black guard look so good. Well done 👍

Woo!
08:01 Why couldn't the mage attack twice? Did you roll for two attack actions already? Awesome battle report you're my favorite!!!

@@DiceChatter ah I see. Thank you for the response!
Are the black guard metal or a plastic kit? I was actually looking to start an CoS warband when I found this video
Plastic! Unless you like painting metal...
J'adore
How did the battle mage shoot someone who is engaged?
Sometimes you goof up...

Shame that the Warcry warbands just seem to be fundamentally weaker than the AoS faction ones :/
Agreed. I still like to try them out here and there, but I prefer the AoS warbands.

The Unmade were making dumb plays and activating in stupid order.
