How can we get generator polynomial g(x) for different code rate? Suppose we want to find parity bits for code 5/8 or 3/4 or 13/16 what is the g(x) in this case?
@@shirishabansal5326 because we are not actually doing plus or minus, we are doing EXOR operation there. Hence no need to change sign. If we get two same value we cancel it out and write down the left ones.
Im 2 years late to this but I’ll still answer it. The generator matrix does not represent all possible cyclic codes. It is a specific method used in error detection and correction, primarily in cyclic redundancy check codes or CRC-codes. Cyclic codes have various representations and metrics, depending on the application and requirements.

For third row, shouldn't the remainder be (x)square+x?
Yes, It would be X(square) + X
Yes
Right
Yes.. It should be x^2+x
Yeah it's mistake..
Nothing fancy, good explanation, thank you sir
Your welcome dear 🙏
God bless you 🙏

in 3rd row we determine X'2+1 but this is wrong. right reminder for 3rd row is X'2+X so it will be 110
Yes bro
In 4th row we got 011. How it got from x+1? Anybody say
@@bhaskarraju3571 xsquare coefficient is 0 ,,x coefficient is 1, xpower0 coefficient is 1
How to convert Reminder in bits I can't understand plz anyone help
Thank you sir 😊
Much needed rn...

Nice explanation sir
Thank you sir.

Same this example we have exam that question tomorrow .
Hope you have solved it.
Sir Aapne Isme ekk mistake ki hai last mein parity matrix ka code likhte time 3 row of parity martix M x^2+x hoga then Iska code [1 1 0 ] hoga
Thanks Prof.For nice presentation
It helps us alot in this subject since am student of Masters in Information but I have course called information and coding theory
I learn alot from your channel and earn alot
But I need help on the name of android app you made for the course
Also I have one comment on the above video at 8:52 there is a minor mistake on calculation you can cross check it
Instead of X2 + x you write X2 + 1
Thanks for identifying this error, i will definitely resolve this. And repost this video
@@EngineeringFunda where is the re-post video?
Thank you 🌷

Perfection.
Your welcome 🙏
In 3 rd row devision x will get multiplied to 1 also then remainder is X^2 +X right
yess
there is error in the video
sir why arent the signs are being changed in division
For the third row in parity matrix should be [1 0 1].
Yes it is x2+x
it will be 110 not 101
Tqsm sir
How can we get generator polynomial g(x) for different code rate?
Suppose we want to find parity bits for code 5/8 or 3/4 or 13/16 what is the g(x) in this case?
sir please cover layered architecture- different laters like- network , physical etc. It is also a part of digicom and comes in exam.
It is a part of computer network
@@EngineeringFunda yes sir. But it is not available on your channel. Sir, the conceptual clarity can really help in this subject.
Sir can u explain cyclic code for syndrome
For First row after substraction why didn't you changed signs
i get remainder of x^2+2x+1
same...
@@shirishabansal5326 because we are not actually doing plus or minus, we are doing EXOR operation there. Hence no need to change sign. If we get two same value we cancel it out and write down the left ones.
Why are we using modulo 2 addition??
Same doubt for me too ,
Xor operation
I love you!!!
Sir how to convert Reminders in bits ??
Does generator matric represent all possible cyclic codes. Pls reply

How to calculate the generator polynomial? I am not able to find an answer with proper explanation anywhere, please do help : |
In 3rd row it will x^2+x
Yup, I did mistake in calculation. Sorry for that but I will resolve it once I come back to this subject again.
It happens..
why do you have so many ads in your 10 min video lecture
But how about the order of identity matrix , here it's 4 . How...???
Plz reply
Plz reply .
its already given in the question (7,4), that 4 determines the order of the matrix..
Sir your 3rd row has 110 .your last term mistake in division
at8:53 duration remainder must be x2+x
The Final 3rd parity bit is 101 not 110.
How can we know that g matrix is 4×7 matrix
Same doubt for me too
the third row remainder should be x^2+x plz correct it sir
I will consider it in modification of course.
I will consider it in modification of course.
Sit your third raw answer is incorrect the right ans of 3rd raw is x2+x
3rd row remainder will be X^2+X not!! X^2 +1
X*1=1 or x
3rd row of parity matrix is wrongg
Wrong
The remainder is wrong
Third step priority 101 wrong
