Is it weird that I used to have this theory that Toffee was actually Globgor? Like Globgor projected his spirit and it possessed some random lizard and became Toffee. And 'Toffee' was actually Eclipsa's pet name for Globgor.
Except she hasn’t and the evil one was her mother solaria. I think most of Eclipsa’s darker spells were mostly her mom urging her to come up with spells to destroy monsters while Eclipsa’s intentions were the complete opposite.
Throughout the series I was just waiting for Eclipse to turn evil. Turns out she never really was evil. Probably the most level headed person in the series. Even Star had her down moments, the Cornsgiving episode where she couldn't recognize that Mewmens were the invaders, but she eventually learned and wanted to be better. Moon on the other hand was two faced.
Watching the part where we find out that star is not her descendent made me realize why he hated teaching their generations because they weren’t the direct line of eclipsa, and he knew about it, but didn’t have enough evidence to conclude it. Just think how this whole show would’ve ended a whole lot different but same ending if he had told star about his theory😮
And I think that Glossarick really liked having Eclipsa as his student, I think he said once that she was the only one who didn't questioned his teachings

At one point Glossarick even tried telling her the truth about her heritage and Festivia blew her off. Her two daughters (Dirhenna and Crescentia) were a lot like their mother. Glossarick basically admits to hating Crescenta while Dirhenna (and I’m not kidding) just wanted to draw balls. Crescenta was known for just making a bunch of useless spells (including the monster tentacle arm spell Star used in season 1, a spell that paints one’s fingernails while also giving you webbed hands, a spell that ties your shoelaces while setting everything behind you on fire, etc). Rhina was interested in making riddles and nothing else (she even made a love spell so powerful that her lover died from it). Celena didn’t do much. Estella was a lot like her mother. Comet, Moon, and Star were the only ones interested in doing anything. Comet was the first queen to attempt to make peace before her death. Glossarick cried after Comet’s death. It seems he does care, but about how good the rulers are or will be.

I do not get why Star thinks Eclipsa should still have the throne and wand, she gave it up when she ran off to be with Globgore, effectively abdicating and removing her daughter from the line of succession. And it's not like Star's family has no claim, they've probably married into enough noble families who themselves have ties to the butterflies that they should have a legit claim.
Star is in one of those rare situations. she has guilt of all that was once her world know as the butterfly familly be a lie to destroy the true legacy of another and it looks like even if all of them are together its still not going to end well for eclipsa or star when a new conflict starts

Yeah star has a lot of explanation to do when everyone is back to their senses. As for Glossaryck at first I was shock, But then I remembered it's Glossaryck.
It's actually pretty horrible that Globgor was sealed in the monster temple, because that was he and Eclipsa's home. They were raising Meteora there. He must've been crystallized trying to defend Eclipsa and Meteora from Magical Commission. Eclipsa got to see her beloved crystallized before her eyes, and was probably taken to be questioned by Lehkmet and then crystallized by Rombulus in their world, without even knowing Meteora's fate. But at least now they can be together again, once Eclipsa gets her hands on Rombulus.
This whole scene could’ve went differently if Eclipsa left before Meteroa started crying. Going to free her husband and cause destruction because of her grief. Star hiding Meteroa in the human world to protect her. Meteroa gets kidnapped maybe accidentally like when the babies got lost in the other dimension. Rastacor ends up with baby Meteora and gives her to Bullfrog. Toffee reappears claiming to want to help Eclipsa . Toffee finds Meteora first and uses her magic and her as leverage. Star trying to stop Eclipsa, looking for Meteora and Moon all at the same time. They all team up against toffee creating a new spell that takes all 3 of them and erase him completely Eclipsa- From the Past you can’t escape Moon - For the Present we must make Star- For the Future you will not take. All 3 - Now and Forever you will be ERASED!!!”
ok. its obvious that eclipsa is very good at manipulating people. maybe this isn't a good thing, shes known to manipulate people. and she knows star is a good person. so when she offered to give star back the wand, she knew star wouldn't take it. globgore or whatever you spell it don't look like a very nice guy. and even star was confused when eclipsa flew off. eclipsa said it herself. "i hate to disappoint you but i'm afraid i have no eaten a single baby, now i did hurt the occasional teenager but only physiologically and they always deserved it." meaning shes done this sorta thing before, which leads me to believe that eclipsa was only acting good and such so that the butterflies would feel bad for her and star would end up giving her the wand. i mean you have seen the magic she can do. in the episode where star is being tested by baby, baby says it herself, "no my queen. star is no where near your skill level at her age. shes far beyond it. in fact i haven't seen anything like this since queen eclipsa." meaning eclipsa is stronger than almost all the butterflys since her being queen. and theres no longer any butterflies left to when she was alive. so i think that eclipsa should still be in the crystal. i have a feeling that meatora was just the tip of the ice berg and that eclipsa getting the wand is about to turn into a complete shit storm.

Did eclipsa accidentally or meant to turn meteora back into a baby? Because how she was eradicated in the sphere was...so...real...does that mean...she would rather have a new life with her husband because she said "Hello Love, We're home" does that mean her husband/lover would be the evil one or would eclipsa help her husband/lover. There are so many questions to this show tbh! I know you guys may have theories but sometimes this show makes an unpredictable action or scene! So we may not know which is right or which is wrong or what could it be or what would it be.
It's both interesting and quite hartworming that Tom don't give a damn how Marco kissed Star, he is just happy to have him back and already forgive them. Yeah, what they did was wrong but I guess their freindship is more important to Tom.

Okay a theory I've heard in the comments that Meteora was turned back into a baby by Eclipsa? I'm gonna respectfully disagree with this. Star said she was 'giving her power to Meteora', then Star was pretty much out of juice after that ... I wonder if it was Star's power that saved the innocent part of Meteora? Hear me out: Meteora was sucking the essence of Princesses for years to preserve her own youth, then eating the souls of the villagers, wildlife, etc to gain power (this is what I think). So for Eclipsa's spell to set the most recent ones free and remove the ones she's used for longevity ... I dunno it seems like Meteora should've died without them. Eclipsa even thanks her! Isn’t Meteora dead? Just look at the baby. If we compare this baby to little baby Meteora, we can see that they have different eyes. Meteora’s eyes are black while this baby has red eyes.
hopefully this'll be a new chapter not only for Eclipsa's family but for all of Mewni, one where prejudice, intolerance, and persecution begins to slowly die out
Thadd Flavin my hope is that the new arc will end with a peaceful resolution, where The OG Butterfly family, (Eclipsa, Globgor, and Meteora) rule over one portion of mewni, like maybe the monster portion that Ludo left behind, and the New Butterflies (From Festivia’s lineage) rule over the portion of mewni they’ve had for generations.
Now all that needs to happen is for Toffee to come back and everything I wanted to happen in the series will have been fulfilled oh and that someone points out Moons mothers death and all the horrible thing Meteora had done are the High Consoles fault because they were the ones that decided to destroy a family because Eclipsa didn't want to conform to how they decide a queen should live her life
Invaderdoom, There is a big question that needs to be answered: Was Eclipsa's marriage to her husband AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE or did she choose him at first, and than fell for Golbgor? If the Marriage was arranged, I can understand Eclipsa jumping ship because she was forced into a situation she had no business in. If Eclipsa CHOOSE TO MARRY her Mewman husband, she betrayed her vows and her Kingdom for her own selfish reasons. There is no way Eclipsa should expect the mewman husband to take care of the child of an affair with open arms. It takes a strong man to forgive acts like that and do what is in the best interest of the child. Hopefully, this will be answered as the show progresses.
Artisticexpression Judging by Eclipsa's body language while her Mewan husband was shown during the trial it does appear that she didn't even want to look at him and that makes me believe that the marriage was arranged.
I personally think that he'll be evil based on the perspective of the Mewmans due to their discrimination, so I think that in season 4 Star will have to fight Globgor for a while before it ends in a peaceful resolution where monster and Mewmans coexist in peace.

I love Eclipsa... but after seeing all of this, I’ve a STRONG hunch Star done got played. Eclipsa well knew what her spell would do to Meteora, so her pretending to be emotional and playing like her daughter is dead is “what she had to do” to get the wand and her daughter back. Also, I don’t think Rhombeulos crystallized Eclipsa’s husband... I think she did, knowing that the MHC was coming after her to crystallize her as well. She wanted to preserve her husband as well.... At any rate, we definitely now have a strong new contender for the antagonist of season 4.
My very same thoughts exactly! Had Rhobulous crystalized him he would of had been in the crystal prison. I DOUBT the MHC would allow his crystal to be somewhere else where it couldn't be supervised. I think Glossaryck is in on it too! He has mentioned before that he liked Eclipsa, or at least she wasn't so demanding of him. How else would he know about the monster's name and know that Eclipsa would go back to him.
But wouldn't it be better or logical for eclipsa to let meteora get star. Then just steal the wand, get her husband, then make meteora back to a baby. Why would eclipsa gamble her opportunity. I really think eclipsa is a good person. Just I don't know about her husband. He seems evil. But who knows.
Maybe it was similar to what happened with Star, because in Battle for Mewni TECHNICALLY Star died. But she was reborn because of her magic, so maybe Eclipsa/Star's spell rebirthed her?
I always found that interesting that they never acknowledge that gem again. I feel like they'd take the time to have Rhombulus give her that gem if it would come back or be important. The gem creating a new wand would be very interesting, as Star did technically create herself a new wand out of her old crystal at the end of Battle for Mewni. However I feel she'll be without a wand at least for half a season - her creating a new wand they'd save for a mid-season/season finale. I honestly hope they don't, I want to explore Star WITHOUT a wand and see what she can do with this new dipping down ability of her's. Some people have been thinking Star gave away her magic with that blast against Meteora, but I disagree because she kept her cheek marks. Star and Marco's Guide to Mastering Every Dimension tells us that the cheek marks are marks left by magic. If her magic were gone, I'd think so would her cheek marks. Anyways if they WERE to have Star and her wand back, I'd think it'd either be Eclipsa returning (with or without her consent) the wand or creating a new one. Though I hope this is not the case- because Star has been progressing and maturing with her magic A LOT this season and it'd be interesting to see her not be dependent on her wand so much - I do wish they use Rhombulus's gem for SOMETHING or else they just used that scene for nothing.
I feel happy scared and just scared because what if the monsters evil like all of the other monsters and tries to take the wand for himself which probably won’t happen so no worries
Pretty sure this season did a good job showing that most monsters aren't evil. The only truly evil monster was Tofee. Ludo just wanted to prove himself to his clearly abusive parents, and all the monsters folllowing him just wanted their land back. Hell, we learn early on that Mewnie used to belong to monsters, and they where invaded and overpowered by Mewmans then forced into tiny plots of land and systematically disenfranchised. Just like what happened in America when the Europeans came.

It's actually pretty horrible that Globgor was sealed in the monster temple, because that was he and Eclipsa's home. They were raising Meteora there. He must've been crystallized trying to defend Eclipsa and Meteora from Magical Commission. Eclipsa got to see her beloved crystallized before her eyes, and was probably taken to be questioned by Lehkmet and then crystallized by Rombulus in their world, without even knowing Meteora's fate. But at least now they can be together again, once Eclipsa gets her hands on Rombulus.
This whole scene could’ve went differently if Eclipsa left before Meteroa started crying. Going to free her husband and cause destruction because of her grief. Star hiding Meteroa in the human world to protect her. Meteroa gets kidnapped maybe accidentally like when the babies got lost in the other dimension. Rastacor ends up with baby Meteora and gives her to Bullfrog. Toffee reappears claiming to want to help Eclipsa . Toffee finds Meteora first and uses her magic and her as leverage. Star trying to stop Eclipsa, looking for Meteora and Moon all at the same time. They all team up against toffee creating a new spell that takes all 3 of them and erase him completely

ok. its obvious that eclipsa is very good at manipulating people. maybe this isn't a good thing, shes known to manipulate people. and she knows star is a good person. so when she offered to give star back the wand, she knew star wouldn't take it. globgore or whatever you spell it don't look like a very nice guy. and even star was confused when eclipsa flew off. eclipsa said it herself. "i hate to disappoint you but i'm afraid i have no eaten a single baby, now i did hurt the occasional teenager but only physiologically and they always deserved it." meaning shes done this sorta thing before, which leads me to believe that eclipsa was only acting good and such so that the butterflies would feel bad for her and star would end up giving her the wand. i mean you have seen the magic she can do.
in the episode where star is being tested by baby, baby says it herself, "no my queen. star is no where near your skill level at her age. shes far beyond it. in fact i haven't seen anything like this since queen eclipsa." meaning eclipsa is stronger than almost all the butterflys since her being queen. and theres no longer any butterflies left to when she was alive. so i think that eclipsa should still be in the crystal. i have a feeling that meatora was just the tip of the ice berg and that eclipsa getting the wand is about to turn into a complete shit storm.

There are so many questions to this show tbh! I know you guys may have theories but sometimes this show makes an unpredictable action or scene! Meteora was sucking the essence of Princesses for years to preserve her own youth, then eating the souls of the villagers, wildlife, etc to gain power (this is what I think). So for Eclipsa's spell to set the most recent ones free and remove the ones she's used for longevity ... I dunno it seems like Meteora should've died without them.

Invaderdoom, There is a big question that needs to be answered: Was Eclipsa's marriage to her husband AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE or did she choose him at first, and than fell for Golbgor? If the Marriage was arranged, I can understand Eclipsa jumping ship because she was forced into a situation she had no business in. If Eclipsa CHOOSE TO MARRY her Mewman husband, she betrayed her vows and her Kingdom for her own selfish reasons. There is no way Eclipsa should expect the mewman husband to take care of the child of an affair with open arms. It takes a strong man to forgive acts like that and do what is in the best interest of the child. Hopefully, this will be answered as the show progresses.

I personally think that he'll be evil based on the perspective of the Mewmans due to their discrimination, so I think that in season 4 Star will have to fight Globgor for a while before it ends in a peaceful resolution where monster and Mewmans coexist in peace.

I love Eclipsa... but after seeing all of this, I’ve a STRONG hunch Star done got played. Eclipsa well knew what her spell would do to Meteora, so her pretending to be emotional and playing like her daughter is dead is “what she had to do” to get the wand and her daughter back.
Also, I don’t think Rhombeulos crystallized Eclipsa’s husband... I think she did, knowing that the MHC was coming after her to crystallize her as well. She wanted to preserve her husband as well....
At any rate, we definitely now have a strong new contender for the antagonist of season 4.
My very same thoughts exactly! Had Rhobulous crystalized him he would of had been in the crystal prison. I DOUBT the MHC would allow his crystal to be somewhere else where it couldn't be supervised. I think Glossaryck is in on it too! He has mentioned before that he liked Eclipsa, or at least she wasn't so demanding of him. How else would he know about the monster's name and know that Eclipsa would go back to him.
But wouldn't it be better or logical for eclipsa to let meteora get star. Then just steal the wand, get her husband, then make meteora back to a baby. Why would eclipsa gamble her opportunity. I really think eclipsa is a good person. Just I don't know about her husband. He seems evil. But who knows.

Okay, so I was freaking it initially but hopefully that gem that Rhombulas gave to Star will grant her a new wand or something
I always found that interesting that they never acknowledge that gem again. I feel like they'd take the time to have Rhombulus give her that gem if it would come back or be important. The gem creating a new wand would be very interesting, as Star did technically create herself a new wand out of her old crystal at the end of Battle for Mewni. However I feel she'll be without a wand at least for half a season - her creating a new wand they'd save for a mid-season/season finale. I honestly hope they don't, I want to explore Star WITHOUT a wand and see what she can do with this new dipping down ability of her's.
Some people have been thinking Star gave away her magic with that blast against Meteora, but I disagree because she kept her cheek marks. Star and Marco's Guide to Mastering Every Dimension tells us that the cheek marks are marks left by magic. If her magic were gone, I'd think so would her cheek marks.
Anyways if they WERE to have Star and her wand back, I'd think it'd either be Eclipsa returning (with or without her consent) the wand or creating a new one. Though I hope this is not the case- because Star has been progressing and maturing with her magic A LOT this season and it'd be interesting to see her not be dependent on her wand so much - I do wish they use Rhombulus's gem for SOMETHING or else they just used that scene for nothing.

Pretty sure this season did a good job showing that most monsters aren't evil. The only truly evil monster was Tofee. Ludo just wanted to prove himself to his clearly abusive parents, and all the monsters folllowing him just wanted their land back. Hell, we learn early on that Mewnie used to belong to monsters, and they where invaded and overpowered by Mewmans then forced into tiny plots of land and systematically disenfranchised. Just like what happened in America when the Europeans came.
