Oddly enough I had a 75 type LT no pollution catalytic converter replacement pipes 350 four barrel every option except for air conditioning from the factory. It kicked ass and took names 🤠
70s camaros are my favorite camaros very much the early and mid 70s cars. This one is very nice and in very great condition, good price.
This car will be sold immediately! I should have NEVER sold my 1970 1/2 split bumper. My favorite year Camaro!
If you can catch "Engine Masters", the octane test with Dave and Steve it proved that on these older cars / motors that the higher octane rating does nothing for performance. All the way from 87 to 116 race fuel. Newer vehicles need the higher octane to reduce spark knock. They even used E-85 and only 5 hp more out of a built motor with a blower. Only on pre 80 engines it doesn't matter what fuel you use. Ethanol will cause problems in any engine if old and not used on a regular basis.

Aaannndddd what about your compression ratio? Older motor has nothing to do with whether or not you may need higher octane. You have an old motor with high compression, you likely need high octane fuel to avoid knock. Newer cars have the spark timing adjusted by the ECU so you can usually get away with lower octane even if performance would be better with higher octane (often you’ll sacrifice a little HP though with lower octane fuel when doing this…)
All blacked out, I'm liking it. Those wheels look great on it, fits the look. The best thing is Camero parts are easy to get.

Clearly has a miss, needs AC and some details addressed... Has lots of potential but as it sits its still project not finished.
Also when they did the ac delete they clearly did an entire delete on heating and cooling system. No heater core hoses, no blower motor. I was very confused as to why he was trying to test the blower motor on the "in-car"

My favorite Camaro I’ve owned was a 73 Rally Sport 350 with the split bumper and the round tails rear spoiler and it had the first high powered Alpine stereo 2 10” subs 2- 3502 mono amps and a 3502 for the mids Alpine planner tweeters I listened to B52s cruising down Main Street and had a party it was the same stereo in the Alpine Show car . She wanted a wedding ring so my baby had to go.
This one is a beauty love me them mid 70's camero's my dad had a 79 z28 and it was built fast as all get out love it!
Rims have to go does do no justice for the car especially 1974 model not America rims wildwood rims people don't remember that limit time offers 1974 rims was in the assemble line they put 1973 trans am or firebird rims on 1974 camero tires since these cars all have the same body frame
The camero was basically for women so they couldn't handle the trans am and firebird 1974 cameros was the z28 with 350 lt1 engine but originally named when it was on paper and built was going be chevelet Panter with leopard skin upholstery Panter paint job and logo design with it own Panter rims nobody knows this but big executive director wouldn't have it and wouldn't sell especially trying to compete with Ford and dodge mustang and the challenger with 392 Hellcat engine typical small block wedge hemi like the Hudson hornet back in 1950s had wedge 331 hemi was used in world War 2 thunderbolt mustang and before changing to diesel engines the British spitfire actually put a Rolls-Royce v12 engine in their fighter planes these history of trains automobile airplane are jus museums yet these are what ours mothers grandparents and family's drove before we were born and brought us home from the hospital now every body drove to fast and doesn't appreciate driving privileges and look at all the scenery that our parents and grandparents see from their first automobile they ever brought that what American dream is really about going through depression and working hard and pay for little luxury and be poor and have fun living freedom family's memories what dream about family's love for generations to come unfortunately some of the scenery are gone and replaced with concrete jungles peace and love to you and your family

This is in response to just about every stupid comment in the comment section, in this video. I love the wheels! Steel wheels are for trucks! AC is for pansies! The 1974 never came with the LT-1! Nobody knows what the compression ratio is on this engine because this car never came with a 327! Obviously this engine is highly modified. That is one clean 1974! Well worth every dollar you are asking!

Does that have a factory rachet style shifter like my 1979 trans am does?
I bring my shifter down to 1st, then when upshifting. I lean the shifter to the right and "slam" it up a gear but it will only go to the next gear. I then have to let go so it re-centers itself, then lean it back to the right and shift again. This keeps it from skipping 2nd, or worse yet slamming it straight into neutral.
Last year for non wrap around rear window. Is it true the 74 rust bucket camaros were made from recycled metal.
