I am not so fan of Sophitia, but I recognize she is a good and balanced character, Ivy though, is really cheap. People complained about Viola in the last game, but Ivy is worst, but of course, Ivy shows boobs and ass and people give her a pass.
Its just heartbreaking to watch Ramon do so well, then get knocked to losers by another equally skilled player playing a more busted character, and then run his way back to Grand Finals just to do it all again every time, like it is with practically all the tournaments you watch with him and a couple other killers.
Soulcalibur is a great fighting game but ruined by Critical Edge and Reversal Edge gimmicks that turned off a lot of newcomers instead of attracting them.

Ivy is so easy to fight against. If you stay in her face you’ll beat her. She’s slow, constantly open and recovers very slowly. If you can’t fight against her than you really suck. She’s only good fighting long range but even then if you know how to distance her correctly you’ll definitely win. She needs to be faster to recover because close range she doesn’t stand a chance.
