What people don't realise about nightcloud is that she was always pushed aside for the toms in her life, and I think that really reflects on why the warrior cats series has a serious problem with misogyny. Sure, the fact that every woman character ever must have babies is BAD, but nightcloud is just the worst treated woman ever.
I don't think Hollyleaf had kits. Nor did Mousefur if I'm remembering correctly.
And so far neither has Twigbranch.

Ever since I saw tangled as a 6 year old I loved the movie because its very pretty but as I became older I appreciate the story more and more as it is one of disney's best plot lines in my opinion. its based on the classic fairy tale but turns it all around and it portrays the abusive situation the main character, rapunzel, is in realistically. the relationship between mother gothel and rapunzel is shown to be unhealthy but not explicitly stated why, but the audience can tell and in the end, gives the abuse victim agency in standing up to her abuser once she realises shes the lost princess.
also, there is a lot of symbolism with her hair which is the main part of her concept. People often complain that eugene cut her hair too short but imo its perfect because even though it looks a bit off it represents how rapunzel is freed from the thing that was holding her back, her hair and the powers that came with it, leaving it short and representing the freedom she never got to have. I also am a fan of brunettes
of course I can't leave out my favourite eugene fitzherbert aka flynn rider because his part is golden. Up until tangled, we never really got a disney prince with as much of a personality or satisfying character arc as eugene. Maybe prince Eric came close, but eugene's character arc really sets him apart from the rest. you see, when we first meet him he's cocky, arrogant, and especially selfish. He goes by the name "flynn rider", which he later reveals isn't his actual name, and steals rapunzels tiara, then helps her escape from the tower. He reveals his name to rapunzel in an attempt to comfort her when they think they're going to die, and opens up to her and gives us an insight to his character and his insecurities. His name reflects this - flynn rider is a cool and admirable name from a book, while eugene fitzherbert sounds more dorky but its genuine. When he starts using this name, he becomes more genuine, and rapunzel only calls him eugene from then on.
I'm going to skip a lot, since I have a lot of words for him, but eugene is shown to be considerate and most of all, selfless. He doesn't care that he's finally been imprisoned and set to be executed, and eventually, cuts rapunzels hair and setting her free, knowing that he'd die.
obviously I have to to talk about new dream. their situations mirror each other: rapunzel is trapped in her "home", wanting nothing more than to be free and live her life outside of the tower. While eugene desperately wants a home, somewhere to stay, after years of having all the "freedom" he could want, even though he is also trapped in his situation. they help each other a grow an become what the other need - freedom, but with the promise of a safe home to return to. When eugene is dying they both try to sacrifice their ultimate goal for the other - for eugene, survival and safety, and for rapunzel, her freedom. They compliment each other in perfect ways that I don't think other disney couples do - and of course I see the light is the most romantic and pretty disney scene to date.
Tangled also has a lot of charm with its animation and visuals - it was the most expensive disney film for a while, it might still be now. I usually prefer 2d, hand animated disney movies compared to cgi, but tangled has so much personality and it's so well animated that I think its visuals are one of its key aspects.
overall, I think tangled is an incredible movie that is both mature and comedic, emotional and lighthearted. This essay is only the beginning of my thoughts I assure you I could write so much more

Completely agree, Nightcloud is an entitled Karen who encourages her son to make the wrong decisions. Sure, Crowfeather may have not been the dream mate she always wanted and maybe a little distant, But Crowfeather was not in the wrong and he was also still sad about Leafpool.
Crowfeather and Leafpool are my favorite couple.

I never agree with nearly everything I see about Crowfeather and Nightcloud.
I don't get how so much misinformation is spread and believed, all you gotta do is read the books to see what they're like.
I understand they're complicated characters, or at least the fandom makes them out to be that way, but I still don't understand how some people get the completely wrong idea about them.
To be fair, the authors have retconned cats over a thousand times, ESPECIALLY Breezepelt good lord, Crowfeather's Trial would've been GREAT if they didn't act like Breezepelt was just an innocent baby who didn't know what he was doing. This is why I hate Warriors now. I only love the fandom. The canon books are so dumb, retconned who adds bad characters who make bad decisions and ruin/destroy the good characters with potential (Can anyone say Stemleaf and Needleclaw?).
Alright I'm done, feel free to reply, I'm interested in other people's opinions about my rant.

Okay so I’m not the only one who thinks Nightcloud is an asshole and Crowfeather deserved better than her and Leafpool (I still like Crowpool a lot more than Crownight though). I was LITERALLY skipping ahead in the PMV after I saw Nightcloud starting to cry 😂

You know, as an OG Crowfeather fan, I was prepared to hate this. But you really made me see Nightcloud in a new light.

I think Crowfeather was a good character- i’m reading Crowfeather’s trial and I think Crowfeather should try a bit harder to comfort his son while Nightcloud is-* _dying_ *I mean if he does maybe he can teach Breezepelt some manners- but I still like Breezepelt being a chaotic cat. But Crowfeather just doesn’t feel like he can ever since he wasn’t* _always_ *there for his son and it can be hard to bond.*

I keep falling for it and im kinda mad about it but also this is quality content
I was a bit suspicious at first, it being April Fool's and I've already been tricked multiple times by other youtubers. Seeing the description and the first comment erased those suspicions, and the 15 first seconds was so beautiful, I was mentally prepared to see Nightcloud's side of the story and side with her, feel her pain and sympathize with her, then.. it hit me. I was flabbergasted. I was preparing myself since most videos to be an April Fool's prank, but the one I had trusted the most had fooled me the most. I let down my guard and now here I am, silently betrayed and also laughing because of the end of the video.
