God this video is old and I remember when I first watched it and felt so bad for breezepelt. I personally dislike breezepelt and believe that the whole family could have done better but I think that was the point of nights, crows and breezes relationship. Crowfeathers trial did such a good job redeeming breezepelt and also fixing the relationship between the family. I also loved that they added the moments with lionblaze, crowfeather and breezepelt becoming more close and friendly! Love this pmv so much!

When I first realized something was wrong with my mom, I ran into this, and I binge watched it on repeat to cope with that, especially because, she wouldn't believe me when I told her. She refused that anything could be wrong with her, last year she finally admitted something was wrong, and I think about this a lot now, and I hope that some day my mom will be ok.
this is like 4 billion years late so I'm not sure if you'll see this, but the simplistic yet eerie style in this pmv has been an inspiration to me since I first watched it a few years back, and I think about this video sometimes and it makes me want to experiment more in art as an abstract feeling-based artform rather than a full pursuit for realism. I found this extremely pleasing to watch! The stylization of the characters is very unique and tasteful, and I love how you went for the whole theme of breezepelt defending his mother. I find most people focus on him hating his father or being vengeful and how he and his mother stuck together gets brushed under the rug. All in all, amazing job!!!!

I know it's old but thank you for making this PMV. As someone whose parents had an unfortunately similar dynamic to Crow and Nightcloud, it has always made me lowkey furious how a big part of the fanbase loves to victim-blame Night because she's grouchy and did something wrong one (1) time. So this was really cathartic to watch.
This showed up in my recommended and I’m very impressed by how effectively you used a simple abstract style to convey the story and emotions in this PMV. It still hits hard even after five years. And I apologize for the backlash you’ve gotten, considering the videos age and that these are fictional characters from a book series with often inconsistent character writing (Breezpelt has a major character shift in Crowfeather’s trial compared to the rest of the series, and that’s a single example)
I'm sorry but I really don't get why ppl hate Nightcloud. Crowfeather used her as an excuse for being endlessly "loyal", she only wanted him to care for their son and at least raise him together instead of him running after Leafpool like he has no responsibility. What did she even do wrong?
she didn't fall all over crowfeather and worship the ground he walked on, so she was labelled a "bitch" and framed that way by the authors. it's completely backwards.
Someone mentioned in a video that crowfeather loved leafpool and feathertail because they both gave crowfeather the space and didn't physically show there love. In a manga you can see how crowfeather hated physical love when he was brought back to camp as a kit and his mother was all over him and he showed how resentful he was. Nightcloud was not like leafpool Or feathertail she showed her love a lot when we see her with crowfeather. She just didn't get how crowfeather just didn't like that.
Also crowfeather is literally the saddest cat in the books he literally tried to murder himself by jumping in front of a monster when the all the clans were leaving the forest of there old home but squirrelflight stopped him

This song really hits home for me because my mom and I have been going through so much shit lately. People keep hurting her and I just want it to fucking stop already. I wish I could protect her so she could get better. She was in a car crash, had thousands of dollars stolen, had so much of her belongings broken and thrown around by some asshat methhead, and gotten kicked out onto the streets by her own mother and her whole family hates her now. All in this year. And her ex husband is trying to take her youngest son from her. I just wish things would stop happening. I'm scared of her getting the virus because the car accident bruised her ribs and she's a smoker so she might not make it and if anything happens to her then I'll have lost my whole family since my brothers will go to their fathers, even though I hate them it's not what my mom would want. I'm sorry for the rant, this just really reminds me of everything going on in my life. I wasn't really a Nightcloud or Breezepelt fan but this makes me feel really bad for them. They're just a mother and a son trying to live their lives, like my mom and I. I adore the sketchy artstyle, it really gives this a venty feel along with the song!
