I've been working on my shot for a long time and still am not a great shooter, I always feel like my form is good from close but that I can never get a good shot from farther and I tell myself that it's only because I'm not done growing yet and that I don't have much strength yet, any tips?

I use a unique split finger release (middle and ring) and my shot has been wet ever since (ps my ring and middle finger are abnormally the same in height )
yo, its practically impossible for me to have my hand straight on the basketball because when i shoot off the dribble or a stepback, my hand is automatically curved. and when i try to make my hand straight, my wrist has a lot of tension so its pretty uncomfortable.
The palm rotation has made me shoot better but like you said on the first day its not gonna be that good but overtime it improves but just learning the palm rotation helped me.
gotta put time in and shoot the ball alot to find your form thats what i did and be thinking i find my shot but it ends up not being consistent and i finally end up find a shot for me thats comfortable and consistent snd i forgot WASSUP JP
I struggle with making sure the ball is being released off the correct fingers it always feels like it just rolls in my whole hand and not off the fingers I'm intending it to roll off of, any tips? Also I tend to naturally place my middle finger in the middle of the ball and whenever I try to release it off the middle I can feel my other fingers trying to release as well.
I think palm shooters are generally guys with larger hands like nba players, cuz it fits on their hands better, like I am 5'10ish, my hands are smaller than nba players so finger pads feel better for me. Where as larger hands, the whole ball fits on their hands, they may also be using their finger pads as well to keep it stable, palm + finger pads. Or just whatever is comfortable, everyone has different genetics

it takes time man, at first I used to hit rim or air balling but then I got used to it and now im hitting shots a lot, I became a better shooter
