Hopefully someone notices this but at 1:05 you can see metroman disappear and appear behind megamind for a SPLIT SECOND, and this is soooooo brilliant because later in the movie it cuts to a scene of metroman freezing time/ going very fast in time and walking around the city observing things, eventually going behind megamind. This is why this movie is so brilliant.

G L yeah, me and my girlfriend had nothing to watch and we looked through Netflix and I was skeptic all because of the little trailer thing and within the first few lines “I didn’t hear that last part,but it sounded important” it’s campy and has such a good cast and when the trailer came out I thought it was going to like one of those money grabbing Disney films this is why dreamworld completely outdoes Disney

What I love about Megamind himself is that the movie helps show that despite looking like a villain, he isn’t exactly a monster let alone evil. The movie shows that Megamind is more of a misunderstood dude who wanted to have a meaning in life. This movie has a good moral tbh

This entire movie is a cinematic masterpiece.
What I love about 5:45, it sums up the whole movie of change. In the beginning she regards him with distain. In the middle she is angry with him feeling tricked and effectively says "How can I see you anything but evil" Then she pleads for help feeling she will never get it. And then this, 5:45 there is no denying she sees him as the hero, saving the day, filled with hope and wonder. That's some serious storytelling to feel movement and emotion in characters. It's movies like this that show you why the Academy awards have "Best Animated Feature" instead of Cartoon of the year.

I managed to convince my parents to watch it and they admitted that despite expectations they really enjoyed it. (They were familiar with Ferrell’s previous works and didn’t care for him that much but they liked him here)
