Your pink guava from Exotica is a seedling. Steve doesn't tell people his guava trees are seedling not clones, so the fruit is not identical to the parent tree. Especially since he has many different types of guava trees to cross pollenate in his nursery, the variation will be high. You didn't mix up your tree. I have a "seedless" NOT guava tree from him.😭

can't answer your question, as I am not a commercial grower. I grow fruit for fun and organic (in my backyard).

@@SuperTeddy222 Psidium Cattelianum Guava (Straweberry) will produce large amounts but small fruit - 4 kgs / 10 lbs on my bush the most

I love Berrys In General. I eat them every day. But i dont want to fill my House with Trees that are similiar due to space. I would think strabery guava would be the best? You said it also in ur video
@@razvaniancu5123 Right. Also, you mention space as a concern, so go for a small variety that you can keep as a hedge/fence.......trimmed small as a bush (strawberry and lemon guavas are perfect for that application)
Nice garden. Did you get rid of the lemon guava? I was thinking about that one since it's at lowes but not sure it it's a good variety?
No. I still have it. I highly recommend it.
@@thetreefather86 I'l try it. I bought some yellowish guava fruit at Walmart to taste them and the seeds were hard as pebbles. Are they that hard on your lemon guava?
@@burstreviews8336 Not even close. Lemon guavas are great tasting. The challenge with store purchased guavas is that they are picked green/unripe to ship to markets. perishable fruit, so you will not have a decent experience unless grown personally or from a farm.

No. I haven't received confirmation. I would recommend the variety in the video (not yet confirmed) + other 3 I grow Ruby-X Red, Beaumont Red, and Tropical Pink

@@thetreefather86 I only have guava trees. Sprouted seeds 2020, in ground 2021, now a couple feet tall. This pink variety is very sweet, and very soft when ripe. I don't know what I'll get when they fruit, I did get trees from 3 different pink guavas. I got some trees from the red variety too, but the tree is not red, it's green.
