I have a bc of 8.5 and diameter of 14.5 and looking for a soft lens with higher power. Only option is 8.7 and 14 and I’m wondering if this is just not an option. I’m currently wearing a -12 in soft contacts and don’t desire a hard lens. I wear a -12 now and when driving I wear eyeglasses OVER THE CONTACTS with a -2 for sharpness and clarity. So I’m looking for a lens of about -13.5. Hence the issue with the bx and diameter options available.

You can get soft lenses in the power you want. Just ask a different optician if you’re not getting anywhere. Where are you based?
